Congratulation man nice story! Respect to you, you made the right choices. How high was your initial investment, if you dont mind me asking? As for your question, I would turn half of the money into Fiat and hold the other half in Bitcoin. Now seems to be the (so far) best time to turn some money into fiat.

You can use the money earned instead of wallpaper, napkins, toilet paper. In short, lucky you, I can not even buy one. I should have thought about this before

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.
My question is, what do I do now?
As far as I can see, I have 4 options;
1) Hold the Bitcoin
2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin
3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.
4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)
Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.
A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:
Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.
first if you have 12 Bitcoin will never came here and ask like that. just make simple ask for your mind and will say hold

This is a very good start. I would still be in your place and, thanks to the analysis of the market, I would know when it is worth to sell them. Currently, you are definitely much ahead but I think it can be even better.

Definitely hold most of your BTC.
Perhaps invest a little bit into long term altcoins (do your own research before applying your BTC's into them).
Remember: Never leave all your eggs in the same basket, ALWAYS diversify!

I'll find good alts and invest around 4-5 BTC worth in them. The rest stay as BTC. The alts (20 or so) should be a mix of "old" and new coins/tokens with solid project and team. BUT if you are not ready for alts, leave them all as BTC

Wow. That's a huge amount. You should slightly twist your bitcoin by trading on altcoins. And also you can try investing in ico. But you should hold the bitcoin for a very long time.

12 BTC is really amazing, I'm with you. I would hold 10 bitcoins, I would place 1 BTC to ethereum and I would seperate 1 BTC for my token sale participations to multiply my budget.

You have 12 BTC that means you have over $150000. That is really a big money. I think you should hold a half and use the rest of Bitcoin for traveling around the world. And waste 150000$? No way, i think he should buy himself a house. Or do what he already was doing and maybe try to make 100 bitcoins out of that 12. His story is amazing, everything is possible in crypto

Well my uncle was in a similar situation, so i am gonna tell you what he did. He sold 4 of them, around 16K and kept the rest of them. Now he diversified this money in IOTA, ETH, XMR, LTC(for stability and profits) & Bitcoin Gold/Cash9forgot which one he invested in. He told me that this was the wisest decision he made in his entire life cause each of these currency is now Booming and have already paid him good profits(Amount Undisclosed). So i suggest you do the same cause i think BTC will touch even greater heights but it has too many risks and the point that it may still be a bauble and not S.
