Cryptsy is now famous(WSJ) : we get it, but why switch over to a new site format until you test and retest it to make sure all the features actually fuction properly. and are 1000% sure it will work flawlessly?? = Very bad timing for a BETA TEST!!!! >> i MEAN REALLY? THIS STUNT HAS COSTED ME = $1000s!!! -> whos' bright idea was this? ..unreal !!! You know what is really unreal? Your whining. If you don't like the way they do their updates and their etiquette, then I am sure bter or vircurex would be more then happy to take you as a member. Every piece of software in this universe no matter how small always will have bugs. They did not expect MCXnow to close out, and the rush of alts is insane. So, the way I see it is, you have 2 choices. You could either shut up and let them do their work, or, you could leave and go to another exchange. Simple as that. To the cryptsy crew: You guys are doing a good job considering the massive traffic that has been rushing your way. Keep it up. --GoR--

No they haven't arrived yet, it was mentioned in the post. If they were, there wouldn't be any lag.

Do you make a habit of delisting 10 million dollar market cap coins without warning, announcement or suspending trades? BTW blocking the trading page is not the same as stopping trading. Open orders are still executing, but I am sure you know that because we have discussed this before. Pretty shady.
Forked coins get suspended upon noticing the fork always been the policy. Welcome to trade anywhere else but our system is secure and prevents folks from withdrawing into forked chain etc. Also get the developers to repair the broken coins. This wont change. IFC forked?? I have been mining and see no problem at all. Also Bter.com trades IFC and does not have problem. Coinchoose is on 444168 with a difficulty of .9 and we are on the longer chain which appears to match this explorer http://coinbomb.biz/ifcblocks with a difficulty of 1.7 taht was last I looked so two chains anyone else got a different answer? Good job checking your facts and suspending trading on IFC nearing its all time high and obliterating momentum AGAIN because coinchoose forgot to update one of the many coins they rape endlessly. +1 innernets

BitJohn , Cryptsy
Is there any reason why you don't have an IFC/BTC market? Could be worth a try (again) if you've tried previously due to its recent surge.

Yes, not to worry. Crypsy has done myself and all others well. Sudden massive growing pains but already their shaking the bugs out of the new interface rather quickly all things considered.
Usually deposits and withdrawals are swift and trouble free. Occasional delays but rarely in my case, except for TODAY! And that's after dozens of deposits and many more withdrawals than deposits over the last few months. And I sometimes take up to a week to even fire up the Qt wallet to receive the data on the withdrawals. I grown to trust Crypsty to say the least.
So rest easy about that. Out of all the Exchanges I selected what I think is the best and safest one. But do your own due diligence. Trust no one any more than you must, and always verify everything possible!

No fee on placing orders -- only when trade is executed

And don't plan to leave funds at any exchange or online wallet for any longer than you must do so. Sure enough to place your trades when the price is best, but plan to isolate a PC and make sure it's got a new, clean install of Windows or whatever, and that it's only used for Online Banking and your Qt wallets. Nothing else. Keep it patched, updated, and make certain your firewall and anti-virus is top notch. Windows firewall is fine as long as you surf no where else.
Install Firefox with Noscript and get used to not allowing any java-scripting anywhere except when you must. And don't bother with installing Java either unless you must have it for other trading elsewhere, and if so absolutely keep it up to date ... Be certain to keep all 3rd party apps and programs updated in timely fashion as well as keep windows updated at all times too. Run an extremely secure, isolated PC just for the Crypto Wallets and online banking only. Another PC for just Trading Online and it's associated needs, nothing else. And a third PC for everything else. All isolated from each other (no network). If your going to risk much then take the security measures needed to secure those assets. And if only dabbling you still much be concious of the risks or the losses could be substancial. And never leave idle funds in any online wallets. Don't trust anyone any more than absolutely required.
Of course being a power user I secure the heck out of my trading pc and my wallet pc, but at any rate I haven't suffered any losses either.
Watch out for old or rouge Qt Clients, the former can cause a lot of headache and the latter can steal your wallet as well as capture your password too. And make certain your downloading from the correct sites. Also seriously consider learning how to secure the heck out your own PC's if you don't already know the drills there.
Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware!
Hello Slingshot, thank you very much for your reply. I am worried because I have already lost money in e-gold, stormpay, liberty reserve, and some offshore forex trading brokers ... thats why I am little bit skeptic to new businesses and new websites who work with money. But as I see there is no problem with them and I have already made a deposit, unfortunately it has few hours delay (1st one is done, 2nd is pending) but I hope it will be credited to my account soon. I also have sms authentication and I try to make all I can to secure my wallet, my pc and other things to avoid scam but thank you very much for your advices Wish you all good luck
