Dev took a huge premine 1mm (ie 1% of all coins ever), has given away a couple but still likely owns 800k of the 1.2mm that are in existance.

Vao. That was a really comprehensive comment. "Has given away a couple" - you have no idea how many coins had been given away.

Also you have no idea about how premine works. You are just a kid from the forum who is reading topics and thinks that premine is terrible.

Let me tell you something. Without the premine we would not have cryptometer.org, 2 mining pools, 3rd mining pool under development, recently released online e-wallet, and a possible Krugercoin cloudcoin alliance.

Please kid, right now I have 300 000 CDC left and they are also gonna be spent on development. We are talking about 1-2 thousand dollars. That is what I earn within a week with my job. This will not make me rich dude. This is not about that. I am just interested in alt coins and I would like to build something with my team.

If we were talking about more money than a grandpa's monthly old age pension that You would have a point.
But right now you are complaining without any brain about nothing.
[/quote]

You talk about it as if its a "serious project."

If it was serious, you wouldn't have announced its launch date one day that was 4 or 5 days out and turned around and launched it the next day. That shows how well planned this project was - announcing it to the world to try to get decent mining support on day 1 and then basically going behind everyone's backs and launching with zero warning the next day.

Littering your own forum threads with sock puppets chanting "cloud coin is the best coin ever" just proves you're trying to pull one over on people. A decent coin would need sock puppets to support it.

It's been interesting to watch. Sad thing is, your coin seemed vaguely interesting.

But you couldnt even keep your team together to launch it when YOU SAID you'll launch it. Even if the community was accepting of premines, you've proven yourself a horrible custodian of those coins by not being able to keep your team together on the most basic if issues. You had a dozen miners and more than that crying foul.

It's all a sham. Avoid cloudcoin. Avoid CDC. Don't list it, it's just a two bit scam. Nothing more.

Nothing can justify it's premine, nothing at all.
It's premined for the sake of the dev earning money for doing literally 1% work, c/p and edit some basic lines.

Unless you keep a track of the premine like CGB dev is, nothing all expendures and total left, you premined it for your own sake, end of story.

cloudcoin sucks, star coin sucks. all these same of POS clones suck. the people want j-Coin, with its SSDRA technology, transaction based demurrage. I also wouldn't mind coins like philosophers stone and jupitercoin, because each has some unique parameters, unlike the rest of these clones

I'm really wondering why Redcoin hasn't garnered much attention from you guys...

Has a stable hashrate and they just released an awesome casino site with multiple games that actually work

I wouldn't mind seeing redcoin listed on the exchange either. its a coin thats flew under the radar. i personally am not a fan, but the fact that it actually has a small community building around it speaks volumes.

oh wow, i had no idea it was premined. that's certainly a scar on its reputation if true. its no different from cloudcoin then.

Interesting that.

After all the drama of Spots not wanting to be listed on Cryptsy around August 8 to stabilise prices, it gets listed exactly on August 8 Grin

I did a public poll and you guys wanted me to ask them to re add Spots. Its an open source currency so it was not my place to make the decision to have it excluded from Cryptsy. I listened to the community and Cryptsy did a great job overlooking the bullshit. Kudos to the community and the site for making the change
