it will always depend on your risk appetite, risk reward ratio. the riskier, the greater profit you'll have, the more conservative, let you gain the typical. a good position in trading, you can take away more than 50% profit in a single day, that's a good sum of money compared on sitting and holding.
however, if you are not the typical person who can monitor every single move of the market, then you can still make profit with holding, just do not expect much.

It's totally true . If you accept more risks you'll gain more profit from this world. Holding is the safer way to earn money than trading but it take too much time for every crypto to rise to a new ATH price. But with trading everyone can earn a lot of money daily if they're good trader but trading is not easy as people still think cause there are a lot of traps in trading from the whales

if you have entered into an ICO and a coin is a new one with low market cap and low volume than I would prefer holding but if the coin is into top 100 coins holding don`t make any sense because for those coins to make 10x or more a miracle is needed.

Holding is just a bank is need time and patience on when the price is high that's the to sell it.  At least some people  are suggesting that a buy-and-hold strategy may be the most effective.But are those users who are so quick to dump off their Bitcoin holdings being a bit too brash,

Trading crypto currency in the stock market is also the same as buying low then persisting for a certain period and buying and selling is also called trading. It all depends on what you mean by trading and ownership, in my opinion buying Bitcoin and holding your wallet or in your exchange account for a delayed period when its value is appreciated by you and then sold with profit is nothing but trade

Trading with crypto is more volatile compared to other form of trading but here it's more profitable since the market
is getting bigger and we are still in the early stage. Majority would advise to hold as the adoption continues which will only make the value to rise.

I think that at this point you should keep rather than trade We can not trade when the market is going down, the rate of losses will be very high and extremely dangerous.
