I think there will be many altcoins die since everyday we can find a new project in the bounties section, only the good project can survive. A bad project can't even go to exchange. The key to survive is to have a good volume, if an altcoins doesn't have volume then it can't survive.

Altcoins will survive for sure.
Of course most of the altcoins will be abandoned sooner or later, but a few of them will be huge.
I believe SelfKey and Enigma will be two of the successful ones.

There is no reason why altcoins wouldn't survive. Some of them are very promising project. They would definitely survive and increase in value in future.

Altcoin will definitely survive if they have a good concept and useful in our lives, and there will be demand for altcoin. Secondly altcoin will survive because it has it's own fans and market too.

Im not trying to saying that all altcoin will be die, as long as they do not deliver the benefit for mass people, ease to use, have a value to be distributed, Im pretty sure, they wont be long in this crypto realm. Long live bitcoin!

Yea that's true. Also if they don't make efforts to market their coin and  list on exchanges. I mean listing on shit exchanges like trade ogre and ether delta is not actually really convenient for anyone trading or wanting to buy. Apart from that these exchanges have shoddy security protocols. Half of Japan's exchanges have been hacked.

Nevertheless I am convinced that Alt coins will survive the volatility of this crypto world. There are so many Alts out there that have good background and projects. I am sure they will give value to the market and will create a much better reception from people.

June 2018 by now and more and more Altcoins were born. 45% of them just appears several months ago.
https://www.coindesk.com/19-crypto-2-0-projects-watch-2015/

This is an article was written in 2015 and you can easy realized that no more than 2 Altcoins in that list survival to today. So I think the same thing will happen with Altcoins which appears this year after 2-3 years.

Perhaps soon we can see an even greater decline in bitcoin, below 5K and the entire cryptocurrency market.Perhaps after that, the falling trend will change to an uptrend.

It seems to me many altcoin will survive along with bitcoin. But I see there is not a single coin near to bitcoin value. Every altcoins has different different vision. Altcoins progress depends on developer. If a developer is working hard from behind that definitely help to push the value high.

If bitcoin will back to 20k$+ many altcoins will follow in percents, but not all. Some of altcoins will die, because it's really useless projects. Altcoins from top20 now will survive when bitcoin will make a new bullish call.

To be frank, I every day more and more doubt that altcoins need us. After all, what did they give us? Think what they gave us? Bitcoin gave us decentralization and blocking, and what did the altcoins give us all this time?

Of course Altcoin will survive. You can see that many Altcoin are legit they are pumping and after a few days all will be fine. So do not worry about Altcoin. Additionally, Altcoin is unique, they have different goals. For example, Monero is used to be unmanageable, Ethereum allows creat dapps on it, dashboard is easy to use and so on.

The theme is very old. What the practice showed is that the alcoins are directly dependent on the bitcoin price. Since the price fell on the cue ball also on the air and on the remaining tokens. I think very large players in the market. They control the situation and deliberately keep the price on news feys. We are waiting for the end of the football championship 2018. We are waiting for growth.

I'm certain that good projects (like Ethereum or Stellar) will survive this bear market and reach new highs. Then a bear market is also needed to "clean" bad projects from the space

There are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies in the world. They are more or less following the principles of bitcoin, their mother currency. Among them very few are popular one like Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash, Ripple etc. Many of these altcoins have potentials to be like bitcoin. Currently they have value only because of bitcoin currency. If anything bad happens to bitcoins no investor will go and invest in these altcoins.

Many altcoins even perform their own way (opposite to bitcoin price).

Yes, I think they will survive, but not all of them. Only working projects (like eth, ripple etc.) and useful for criminal projects (like monero etc.).
