Another fork? How can i set my free BTC Atom?

Bitcon Atom is not just another fork, but is bringing some really cutting edge features of intrinsic value to bitcoin algorithm. I recommend you to study resources published on our official channels;)

All Bitcoin holders who possess their private keys at the moment of the fork (block number TBA) will receive Bitcoin Atom at the rate of 1 BTC = 1 BCA. You need to control your Bitcoin private keys in order to claim and transact Bitcoin Atom. We will publish detailed guide soon.

I don't think that it will be just another fork, I think this is special.
I will read carefully the guide in order not to make a mistake when it is available.

Which wallets are available for this token and this fork?
they have their own wallet
Do you know what it is?
yes, it is atom wallet
Can i use an BTC wallet or another one? Are they not available?

You will need to use BCA wallets and nodes, not BTC.
Then I think I am going to use Atom Wallet
There will be more wallets to choose soon. They have told that news are coming.

The admins on Telegram are involved in community management of Bitcoin Atom, that is right.

Anyone can explain what are PoW and PoS models?

PoS stands for Proof-of-Stake and PoW stands for Proof-of-Work. With Proof of Work, the probability of mining a block depends on the work done by the miner (e.g. CPU/GPU cycles spent checking hashes). With Proof of Stake, the resource that's compared is the amount of Bitcoin a miner holds - someone holding 1% of the Bitcoin can mine 1% of the "Proof of Stake blocks"

source: Bitcoin Wiki

Bitcoin Atom is designed as a combination of these two algorithms in order to increase network stability and reduce the power of miners, hence lowering the 51% attack probability.
Thank you for the good explanation!

I don't know when exactly but I suppose that the fork will be around the middle of the month, or around the next week.

Actually I've been studying what they're trying to do and it looks pretty impressive to me. Atomic swaps potentially through Lightning Network  off-chain, that's really cool. But you're right, given that I get free coins just for holding bitcoin, I'd be happy if it becomes a cheaper bitcoin and gains value let's say of bitcoin cash, without any features at all...
