What can be the value of this coin until the end of the year ?

Today is $1.05 USD (10.35%)  0.00010541 BTC (7.89%)

For now it is still unclear if judging about the price, because BCA is still in bad exchanges like yobit, should the BCA team be able to propose to another exchange if it wants the price to go up.

The price now seems to low and frankly this bitcoin atom has not been good like the early forks in bitcoins its just another copy whilst having some algo but it doesn't makes better. If Bitcoin Atom reallyh wants to be on the top they will be needing big people and a good movement.

it's not true that bitcoin atom is the copy without efforts. They offered hybrid consensus straight from the start and they also made atomic swaps api working, which means that majority of work has been done. No other forks have that. Let's see how swaps wallet look, but this project is really of great potential, people shouldn't judge it only because of lack of hype...

To date, the developers of BCA have not received anything significant, all the purses were closed at the time of sale, and the sale that was after a penny ... Scam here you are convincing people that  the BCA team did nothing ...

It looks like this coin is not even trading on any exchanges now.    On Coinmarketcap page, it says "Exrates" but you go to that exchange and there is not even a BCA/BTC pair.  It is just BCA/USD.   And not sure who is going to trust Exrates with USD.   

It's weird how Coinami wallet supports this coin, but it's pretty much dead.  I guess BCA developers paid Coinami to add it.  I don't know, but it is disappointing.

Exactly, all depends on developers now, the product is being built, that is for sure. But I can't wait to see how gui wallet will look like. So far the UI they released in BE and node are really top notch!

I am fully aware that based on few months performance no project can be judged but this is too much here. It really shocked me to see few days ago price of BCA were even less than $0.50 this is worst short termed performance of any Bitcoin forked coin so far.

On the pool, there were approximately 350K coins mined in the first 24 hours and now the difficulty has increased as it should. But yes, in first 24 hours there were close to 1M coins mined overall. Since there was only one pool, and it mined 350K coins, the rest of the coins were mined alongside the public, by the official devs which was confirmed on Telegram. And they did it alongside the public because they promised no pre mine. And the approximately 650K coins are now held by the official devs. And they are not going to dump it anytime soon. It is for the development and future costs of the project.
So IMO, when any one of the exchanges lists BCA and dep/wd open, the public might dump(on telegram the people who mined the most coins are saying that they won't sell cheap, so am guessing there won't be a huge dump) but it won't drop below $10 in my opinion and will rise up once big exchanges list and also there is Atomic Swaps coming in March-April. I see a huge potential in this project if the team fulfills their javascript:void(0);goals in the road map!

that is an utter nonsense. I definitely support critical thinking, but also it's hard to be watching people slating the projects before studying it and letting the team to deliver. Hybrid consensus is already the algo much different from original bitcoin pow, not speaking about atom swaps already working. yet someone comes here and tells the work has not been done. If you're to share your opinions, do the proper research first..

If they can finish GUI autoswap then bca will be 500$ the end of 2018. But now i do not see proof for GUI autoswap. Some project have GUI autoswap like as https://blog.altcoin.io/atomic-swap-wallet-beta-release-b6e3eef55842. They have proof for process, it is very clearly.

When was the fork of Bitcoin Atom exactly? I just checked some of my Bitcoin addresses which contain Bitcoins since summer last year without any transaction since then, and those addresses do not contain any Bitcoin Atom coins if I look them up on a BCA explorer? Any idea why? Thanks!

it was on block number 505888, January 24. You can read more info on this on their official blog - https://medium.com/@bitcoinatom/bitcoin-atom-hard-fork-took-place-at-block-number-505888-daba0a4846a9. You won't see your coins in same address as bitcoin, you will need to claim your coins by using your private key, then you will see what is your actual BCA address, that will be trackable over block explorer.
