If you take 7500 EUR and multiply it by USD->EUR exchange rate (1.3) and add vat 20% you get 11,700 USD. Maybe they are just matching their European sister store?  |

More likely the price of the starter kit will rapidly fall to bellow $1,000 as it gets blown out of the way by the Avalon chip boards and KNCminers at well below $50 per GH/s. |

Agreed... Those looking for a turnkey highend miner are going to be driven to KnC. I know I started looking at their site more seriously (though I do still consider them significantly risky... but not 50% more risky). |

Bad news: CC payments are currently being handled in manual mode only (choose Bank Transfer and make a note on the order) while I set up a new payment processor. Kat can process your card manually via Square for now. It may take some time to get a new merchant account. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey Dave - We know you have the right to change the price when needed, but would you able to give us a heads up on how long you think the current pricing will be stable? Rough estimates would be great for those of us with our planning: 1 week... 2 weeks... 1 month? Thanks! I haven't heard anything about either raising (whoops!) or lowering prices anytime soon. I'm confident that if the market for October devices becomes less compelling for some reason (like BTC price falls), we would be discussing what changes we could make to continue to provide a really appealing offer to the mining community. I would not expect to see a price change for October kits just based on where things are at right now. When we announce product for November/December, I'm sure it will be cheaper. I'll try to keep everyone tuned in here - your perception of our price/value is very important to us... |
