...
In Australia "Dero" is a negative term, if talking about a person a "Dero" is basically a low-life, a bum or a bogan.
If talking about an item it usually means extremely run down, almost the equivalent of derelict.
...

Lol, just like when Kraft changed its name to Mondelez and that turned out to be a derogatory term in either Russia or Ukraine or the like.

In other news, DERO is up to 0.00013 BTC / $1.86US on stocks.exchange... quite a run so far.

I think in the near future it will be around 1/10 Monero's price. Way more unique than all other crypto night coins.

Still kicking my self in the ass when I was hesitated to buy more.

Just did a test transfer of 10 DERO to stocks.exchange with "normal" priority and a ring size of 5; let's see how long it takes to show up there.

EDIT - I also transferred some TZC at around the same time and it showed up about 15 minutes later; nothing but crickets with the DERO deposit so far.

New Community Pool: Fixed Difficulty, SSL Ports

- Website: https://dero.nitropools.com
- Pool fee: 1%
- Optional SSL mining ports
- Vardiff or fixed difficulty - your choice. For fixed difficulty simply append your requested difficulty level to your wallet address with a period e.g. walletaddress.difficulty  Do not set this too low for your hardware and spam the pool, you will be blocked. A good rule of thumb is speed in H/s x 20 at an absolute minimum.

Pool is running nice and fast on a dedicated 12 physical core dual Xeon server with SSD drives. Come join the party!

Thanks a lot for this pool, been running on it for about 30 mins now and it's working perfectly.

Welcome! We just found our first two blocks  Grin

Static diff is good. I'll go when I collect 4 coins on the official pool. I hope you will not have forks ... Smiley

Already , updated exchange about daemon updates.
They are upgrading whole exchange and asked for another 2-3 days max  to settle all, yesterday.

So I should expect the deposit I made to stocks.exchange about 3 hours ago to take another 2-3 days?

In the meantime, it will be interesting to see how the bid/ask spread plays out (nearly a 3:1 range between the lowest sell and the highest buy).

Yes, if seller are patient and not giving away theirs coins Dero could stabilize at a nice price.
Dero has a good potential, looking forward to see more about the dev.

I believe any problems with stocks.exchange are exchange-wide right now.  That is just what I have noticed from other coins.

It's an interesting point that the exchange issues are reducing Dero supply.  But the exchange issues are also reducing demand - otherwise more users would be on the site.

Also, I think the 2 MH/s + nethash is very intriguing.

That being said, you are right that there may be some price correction once people can send to exchange.  But the prospects of this coin are nevertheless interesting.
