When do you know its time to sell your altcoins?

Selling coins is all depend on the holder if they want it to sell it the right time or in the time were market is high to earned big. It must also, to be sell some in the high price and hold also some of it for the future. But in the time it is badly needed we cant hold it but to sell and likewise if there are more hold some for the future.

What I do > After doing much research once I decide an Alt and if I trust it, I will keep buying a portion if their are any dips. This makes me comfortable and gives me a good entry.
I always book profits in the similar pattern as well too.

When selling a Altcoin it is impossible to know when the right time. The coin you sell may always exceed the value you sell, or every coin you buy may be slightly lower. My motivation is always to increase the amount of Bitcoin available. Never in that, I do not look at the price of any of them in USD. I always think the more Bitcoin is, the better.

In doing so, my thought is always to determine the price of a coin I bought. This applies in both cases. Though the price goes down, it rises like this. For example I bought Ethereum. When you reach 100% profit on holding basically it's time to sell it because profit is a profit. Don't always expect big gains if you want to earn more on crypto. That is my strategy on making profit on altcoins. But if you're busy then just buy and hold at long term coin and hold it for months or year.

Generally, if I gain more than 20% , I get shocked and immediately take the money and invest in some other altcoin which has not increased recently or but BTC or ETH with the money.

Set limits for when you'd sell. Also, don't liquidate all your holdings in that coin. Keep a few hundred or thousand and if the coin truly becomes the next big thing that will be enough. It doesn't matter if you sell a majority at 410% if you keep some and it later goes to 1,000%+.

Bounty tokens you can sell it whenever you want because you will not lose your money and my advice is whenever you finish your bounty camping and when that token list in any exchange sell it don't wait for a long time, most of the coins price will drop after finishing bounty campaign. whatever coins you will buy with your money those coins never sell it for loss wait for a good time and sell it for profit.

You should have a goal, either daily, weekly or monthly on the profit you want to make. If you already reached your goal then sell your coins and next day you start again with another goal. Sometimes checking the movement of an alt coin in the chart gives me a hint to sell my alt coins, sometimes there is a pattern when to sell for example Banca, Before they release the weekly updates price usually pumping hard and then the day of the release price starts going down again. So i am selling my tokens before the day they release the new updates or announcement.

I usually set a goal for how much I want to make, any coin that gets a 50% increase from my buying price gets my attention and i watch regularly till I feel it may drop again or just sell at the 100% margin mark and reinvest.
