I am not one of those who sell my altcoin for bitcoin, on the contrary I sell my Bitcoin to buy some altcoins because I think holding lots of coins is faster for profit because now I think trading is the best way for me to do.
more holding Altcoin will get more opportunities than holding one coin. Bitcoin is indeed a good coin, but if selling Altcoin for Bitcoin is not a good choice. The movement of coins varies so that the stronger the strength of the coin, the more it is held it will make it easier for you to get results, because some Altcoin can be profitable and can also be calm so that not only one Altcoin can be obtained. |

I only sell about 30% of the altcoins that I have to buy bitcoin, all of the altcoins that I sell are because I have got a lot of profits. If I still haven't made a profit, I won't sell

I think it is not necessary to ale alt for buy bitcoin. Because bitcoin and alts is almost built with each other if bitcoin rise alt will also rise and if bitcoin fall alts will also fall. So I see that there is no advantage of selling alts for buying bitcoin, because as of now bitcoin and alts are dropping. If we sell alt we cannot maybe get a big profit so it means that we can only buy few amount of bitcoin in short no advantage at all.

If we talk about today, i do not know it is the right time to sell the altcoins for bitcoin. We know that before the bull run, bitcoin's price is increasing. If i could have guessed the date of bull run, i would sell all my altcoins and buy more bitcoins.

I am actually buying Ethereum at the moment with the upcoming fork in case it spins off a new coin, but it has also risen further in price than Bitcoin of late mainly due to it being oversold in my opinion. I don't like to trade one coin for another to see if it will make faster gains, it has never worked out for me.

That does not make sense, have you observed the market? Bitcoin down more than 70% of it's price but the entire altcoins has bigger loses compared to bitcoin. So that would tell they are connected, people will dump their altcoins if bitcoin dump, and do the opposite if bitcoin rise. |

buying altcoin at this moment be better decision than selling.at this moment was already in bottom. as we know we have to sell on top dont at the bottom.hold it till all price reached the top again. |

I don't think selling all your altcoins for bitcoin in this bear market is a good move because once the market recovers, most of these coins, especially the potential ones are just going to be increased by about 1000% their current price of which bitcoin is unlikely to increase by that percentage.

not a good idea if you sell all Altcoin and change Bitcoin, yes even though the value of Bitcoin will increase but sell Altcoin all for Bitcoin, we can lose it all, because the value of Altcoin is low while Bitcoin is high. just wait profit from Altcoin after gaining new profits buying Bitcoin. Altcoin can also still be profitable and some Altcoin will definitely be profitable, and the chances of profit are greater because of various Altcoin.

Proportion can change as per market's trend. During bullish periods alts might go up to 30% and even less than 20% during long bearish periods as 2018 was.

Selling your altcoins because you feel others are selling, is not the best decision to make. How are you even sure that people are not holding theirs.
The team of every good altcoin always give updates latest happenings or upcoming developments. Why don't you search for this and like it guide you on what to do. Whether to sell or to hold.
