if you compare to bitcoin price between other altcoin price then i have to says there is no altcoins could able to surpassing bitcoin from price side but if you were ask what coin can equal the popularity of bitcoin then probably ETH able to do that and in my view only ETH can considering as that
No coin can beat bitcoin because if we look at new price of bitcoin it is very high and no one knows how fast it will increase more. Bitcoin is at the top of all currencies and it is saving a lot of money for those who are investing and having profit. For now bitcoin is number one and it will not lose this value ever. It will be the best option for those who are making profit and buying high amount of bitcoin for long profit. |

There are a lot of good potential cryptocurrencies out there but it's really hard to find out the next cryptocurrency can be good as Bitcoin cause Bitcoin price and trading volume are too high at the moment. If any cryptocurrency can become the next Bitcoin I think it's ETH of course but it'll take very long time, about 10 - 20 years for ETH to be able to replace Bitcoin

Each coin does have their unique features and road map, bitcoin is extraordinary and original. I don't find anything that will be next to bitcoin, there will be some new coins that will be on hype but still bitcoin is unique from those coins that others are suggesting.
Bitcoin is on the top and no altcoin i can see will be next to bitcoin, but i know many altcoin has their own good benefits and they have potential to grow but not like bitcoin. |

I agree on this, I also don't consider that there will be some other altcoins that will be the same like bitcoin or next to it. And it's too early to think about this either, bitcoin isn't dying anyway and why we have to think and come out to this question in our heads? or should I say that majority of the altcoins can also experience the success that bitcoin went through and keeps on going through with it's everyday existence? |

There is only 4 coins that it will be the most successful after bitcoin. But these coins cannot replace bitcoin.
Example of daily life: Son cannot replace his dad. Son cannot become a dad of his father.
So there are some coins where it is listed.
1) ETH
2) BTCC
3) BTG
4) Monero
5) LiteCoin

actually none,theres no other coin would be another bitcoin thats for sure.but i believe that Ethereum would make higher value but wont be closer as bitcoin.and same as litecoin and the monero. |

Ethereum has a very good chance of maintaining second place once it sorts out its scalability issues
Bitcoin Cash, NEO and IOTA are the others which also have potential here
I wouldn't bother with any of the other BTC forks like Gold, Super, Platinum, Uranium, Cash Plus and whatever else
Ethereum really does. It has been tested, it has been used and there is one thing about the first mover in the ICO platform world, and as long as the devs keep working hard to make the platform better, it would always get a useful spot probably next to bitcoin. Although, no one can really say which coin may end up being next, and only future can tell. We have seen some coins with prospect doing great so far, and it is better not being too fast to assume. There are so many coins that would be the next big one but no one can really say which one ends up as such as we cannot be certain of the future. However, I am sure some of the devs are really working hard; knowing that this is a very competitive space and anyone who is not smart enough to do the needful, will eventually get sidelined in the long run. |

Bitcoin is really a huge one. It is hard to predict what coin will be next to it. It's hard to take over the place of bitcoin, it gone too far. Bitcoin is a remarkable asset of crypto industry. But observing the altcoin, ethereum has it's best potential to rock crypto community. Ethereum is in demand for almost traders of newly existing altcoins. I cannot indeed if it will be the next bitcoin but no one can say what will happens on the future.

If I will choose one coin whom I believe will be next to bitcoin, I will pick ETH. No doubt because its has the second highest market cap and many people are holding it too like bitcoin. But if you are asking about the one who will take bitcoins place in the future I think no one will do. Bitcoin is the first coin and still the best and the most trusted coin.

I think Etherium has the potential to be next to Bitcoin because the Etherium has a pretty good progress, as well as the increased graphics Etherium and significant increase in price. I think that way.
Your thinking is right. ETH have some better results that can help it to grow more. Even if you compare all the coins in altcoin family, you will come to know that ETH will be placed at number one and then LTC and then other comes. ETH and LTC are potential coins and they are progressing so fast. ETH is better than LTC and it can be the second coin after bitcoin in market. |

I believe a good coin I think is ETH because with ETH can hold many tokens, and if combined, then all ETH and token marketcaps using ETH are bigger than bitcoins.

We dont know what will happen in the future but I will support your opinion that bitcoin is the king and cannot replace of any altcoin. The coin that have a potential to replace bitcoin are Ethereum, monero and litecoin this three will surely have a big impact to crypto world the transaction are fast with a small transaction fee when you withdraw/buy. |
