Ridiculously low volume though, while I am a ActM bull, this price rise is artificial

True, and likely quite true, but still a fun ride.

True, and likely quite true, but still a fun ride. It's certainly fun to watch. Ultimately, the price will go far beyond this, but the retracement should take us back to 0.0045ish. Buying now is like buying btc during the ramp up of the 2011 peak and crash; yes the people who bought during the runnup could have bought cheaper if they waited a bit, but all those that bought (and held from anywhere between $0.01 to $31.91) ended up doing pretty well by today's prices

It's fun to watch the price go nuts but no chance I'm selling a single share until .02, even then I'll probably just sell enough to cover my original investment. I'm in this for the dividends... Those guys that bought in early with AM are receiving ~$15,000/week USD.
I'm just not any good at playing the short trades, I'm sure others can profit by it but I just don't have the time to do it.
I am in this stock for the dividends also. Other then a few very small cash outs to get my principle back on it's way up I intend to hold this stock for the long haul.

Someone PLEASE post some put options!
What this means is you can get either
1) ActiveMining at a LOWER price (you are selling someone else the right to sell AM to you at a lower price than it is currently, in exchange for a "premium" now) 2) High interest while you wait for it to expire on your money

Realistically speaking within the next 1-2 months how high do you guys think we can go in regards to price per share? After the 20k chips arrive from Avalon and we start hashing?
One advantage ACTM has going for it in terms of share price at the moment is that the market already has a similar company we can use in order to predict valuation. Asicminer has 400,000 shares Current price per share ~4.6btc ActiveMining has 25,000,000 shares (62.5 x more shares) Assuming all goes well ActiveMining could easily represent 25% of the current value of Asicminer and could equal or surpass Asicminer in the long run. Based on private conversations over PM I've had, Ken believes he will grow ActiveMining to surpass all competition. This is the bar he has set for himself, not just my speculation. 25% market value compared to Asicminer would equate to a .0184/share ACTM share price (using 4.6/share for AM). 50% valuation would of course bring that to .0368/share etc. There is admittedly a long way to go but the potential is definitely there. Thanks for the post. It would be great if we can hit close to .02/share. That would be awesome if we can see that within the next few months. You miscalculated, and 4.6/62.5 = 0.0736

I am saying that @ 25% valuation you would divide your number by 4 = .0184 Admittedly, 25% is completely arbitrary as ACTM may actually end up surpassing AM.

Large discrepancy between BTC-TC and Bitfunder. Too bad I'm on Bitfunder Yeah, how come nobody is taking advantage of arbitrage on this discrepancy? Like, sell 500 @ 0.005600 on BTCT = 2.8 btc Transfer your bitcoin to bitfunder, then buy 500 @ 0.004790 = 2.395 You have the same shares, but gain instant 0.405 btc profit, that is 156 weeks of dividend based on last div.

Because getting your coin through weexchange and into bitfunder can take ages, because they require 6 confirmations. By that time the price could have changed and then you have lost money

You asked why noone was doing it - that was just a reason I thought of. With the ask walls you could stand to make quite a profit right now tho...
