the opportunity for arbitrage /still/ exists.

those that are holding on btct, i implore you to help bring down the bitfunder walls and increase your holdings by 10+%.

everyone wins.

i am on bitfunder, and when the chance to arb over to btct exists i will.

I am trying to benefit from the diffrent prices on the two exchanges. However it is a hassle with the time it takes to withdraw from BTCO and the we exchange method used by Bitfunder. I am hopeful that the walls are still there when I do get the funds across.

Here's some tips.

Enable 2FA to double the amount you can automatically withdraw. If you haven't got a smart phone, you can use a program for your PC. A list of programs can be found here. I used MOS Authenticator on Windows 7 and had no problems.

If you are withdrawing from BTC-TC to your local wallet, you don't have to wait for 6 confirmations before sending it to BitFunder.

Thank you for the advice. I just enabled 2FA and got the BTC out the account.

On another note what are peoples feelings on the future price differences of each exchange? Do you think they will come more inline?

yes, there is no reason for them to stay far apart for very long. bitfunder and btct each have their own advantages/disadvantages, but they are pretty much the same in my opinion. in the long run the share price will level out. its high on btct right now because of sdice falling apart, and the recent move into activemining instead of AMC-pt removed all of the old walls, leading to new price discovery. bitfunder is trailing behind only because of some huge walls that were placed up. they are falling fast. the invisible hand of the market, just like people like you, will make sure the prices stay close.

Did anyone else notice the wall jump back up to 50,000 for a short period? I refreshed about a minute later and it was back to it's original value. If one of you guys is planning on putting up another wall of 25,000, just sell them in smaller batches and you will sell them pretty damn fast, the share price will rise slightly in between batches and you'll make more profit and sell them far quicker.

Both BTCT and Bitfunder publish shareholder lists in some form. Bitfunder's are public (asset list). BTCT provide them to issuers.

Would it not be a cheaper option to buy AMC and convert them to Activemining shares? Am I missing something?

You have to wait to get them changed and the price is moving around a lot in the mean time. But yeah, you can.

It is cheaper at the moment, but just be sure to tender them before the 31st as I believe that is the cutoff date.

By my calculations there are still 267 people holding a total of 795,613 AMC shares.  Those people really need to tender them or they will be missing out on 90% of the hardware profits.
