Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I feel that this project is working very fast, and DEV is very efficient, although he is not always online.

I have a question. If I want to start mining on different machines to one address, can I just copy wallet files and start client? Do I need to use the same pool on different machines or I can use different pools?

First of all you need to get an approval from Dev for making a pool. but how ?
right now you can't since the next updatr for pool is avaible. Dev will push this one for this week if all work good. this one will allow pool owner to take back them pool fee and add fee for the community fund. Memory management will also be re worked, and the reload will be faster than now. expect this to be a major update to do !!! cheerq

Hi,
I've just registered BCT only for XDAG. Hopefully this project will be a success and I like it for several reasons:
- The dev loos very competent and focused on doing important things first.
- Active and collaborative community
- I think the currency can have a decent price despite of the 4B supply max supply, because it is minable
- I like how easy is to mine coins at the moment. Maybe it goes nowhere, but if it succeeds it will be great for small miners that trusted and supported XDAG
Congrats!

I don't like GQ/ Gucci stule design. Looks to familliar... Would really like to see more of your ideas for Dagger logos. While it's clear you have skills with logo design, for some reason these aren't calling out to me. Wish I had the skill to give it an attempt. Maybe experiment with additional art that looks even more like a sharp dagger symbol?

There was a guy on BCT who did logo and designs for free... maybe ask him. He also had some great work shown. I will try to find the link to the topic when i am home.

What is total and max coin supply? What is block reward and minting schedule?
Is it really 2 Billion coins after 1 year and 4 billion total?

What is total and max coin supply? What is block reward and minting schedule?
Each block has a difficulty counted by the formula: 1 / hash. If the hash is less - the difficulty is more. Then, for each 64-second period there is determined the main block of this period. Cheatcoins are mined in each main block. For first 4 years the amount is 1024 cheatcoins per main block, for second 4 years - 512 cheatcoins per main block and so on 4*(365*24*(60*60/64))*1024 = 504.576.000 XDAG the first 4 years. And the half the next 4 years.

Thanks. So consensus algorithm is somewhat clear, but how do transactions work? Is there a fee? How does system limit transaction spam? Do miners mine transactions? What prevents double spend?

Wanted to get a sense of how people would react...

subtracts from input accounts and adds to output ones
Thanks, but what I mean is how do transactions get confirmed if there are no "blocks" to put them in? Is there a concept of how many confirmations a transaction has? What is block time and how long to confirm?
