you need a gil.conf file https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255844.msg3213161#msg3213161and the blockchain from the link in the first post copy gil.conf to %APPDATA%\Gil extract the blockchain to %APPDATA%\Gil delete peers.dat from %APPDATA%\Gil and try again |

P2P Port = 64575
Testnet Port = 64574
Are these port numbers correct? The client is trying to connect to 64574, which according to the OP is a testnet... but the client says testnet=false. I'm assuming the OP has muddled numbers, but I want to be 100% sure that I'm on a live net rather than a test one. |

P2P Port = 64575
Testnet Port = 64574
Are these port numbers correct? The client is trying to connect to 64574, which according to the OP is a testnet... but the client says testnet=false. I'm assuming the OP has muddled numbers, but I want to be 100% sure that I'm on a live net rather than a test one. they are correct, im mining on 64576 |

You don't need to have a port number in your conf at all, it will use the default port
|

There still seems to be some confusion here... Your OP says the P2P port is one thing, but the default port that the client connects to is another. |

Gil got quite active today on cryptsy after this announcement Still undervalued tenfold at least in my opinion, look at the amount of coins and we now got a pretty much perfect client, its very fast too.. but it's good to hear Cryptsy is making some sense here now. |

cant sync wallet
gil.conf seems to be ignored. at least it doesn set specified rpc port.
where has it to be on linux?
usually its in the same directory as <somecoin>-qt or .<somecoin>
