I think it will be recognized all over many countries and will be known by its many opportunities.  However,  there is a difference when you say reconized and legalized,  this words are different.  Yes it sill be recognized but when the government of the country realizes that their economy is decreasing,  somehow they mau not legalized this type of digital currency to play a role with their country.. Yes. If one country starts to legalize the use of bitcoins, other countries might as well do the same. This will lead to a new competition in the transaction of fees around the world. are you talking about taking down the decades old (by the time bitcoin (if) reaches 100k) publicly maintained ledger running on millions of loads?

because none of the two seem doable to me.
As for stealing login credentials or private keys from local media or exchange servers, its something that won't depend on the price of bitcoins. Potential hackers with enough skills would do it whenever they can irrespective of the price of bitcoin.
