Hey there,
Saw the case after some google'ing - think it looks great. I also like that you're in the States, so less potential shipping problems. Also, and I've said this at the other case being talked about - it's probably a good idea to post a throw away email.
I had a somewhat hard time making a reply, as a newbie there are real challenges to be over come first to have this privilege. So there maybe a number of folks that got the device, and really want to have a case figured out before the units ship - but are unable to express their interest.
Just my two bits. Any way - the open air case is clean and neat. Keep up the great work and keep us updated. Cheers.

Added support for the hashing cards via another beam and a boatload of nylon spacers. Any interest in these be stackable?

Where does the pi mount?
This open air "case" will be made from 15mm t-slot extrusions and will include a small plate onto which the Raspberry Pi will be mounted. That plate could then be mounted almost anywhere on the extrusions.

Someone else has said that the cards aren't very stable especially blowing air through them, so either screwing them in or tight nylon spacers are a must. Stacking would be cool, though for me it's not a huge deal as I'll only have two at the most. Not sure how much it'd add to cost, but I'm sure there are a few people who have stacking as a top priority.

The case look great (as well as all the examples on your website). Any idea when these would be ready and/or have a working model? Cheers.

This will fit all 16 boards the main board supports, correct?
If so, I'm definitely in.

Hi there,
Couple of questions:
So have you been able to get exact dimensions for the boards? Also, the PSU would be a standard ATX so that it too can be screwed down in place? And would the unit come with fan(s) and would these be bolt'able to the case?
I gues my vote is on a design such that everything is bolted in place, so there's no worry about items shifting about if I have to move the unit around. My milk crate caused be such personal grief (as I only zip tied everything) - and I would rather not have a repeat. Also, I may need to be moving once I get this in Oct and all.
I like the clean open air design - and looking at your work on your website, it looks super clean lines. Thanks!
