Hi,

My Baikal giant b had 1 bad hashboard.
I removed 1 and sended it back.
Theire was told i could run it with only 2 hashboards.
But when i power it up, i have only a fan at 100% and red lights (not blinking).

Does anyone have an idea to get it running with 2 hasboards?

Just a guess: try plugging in one of your two boards to the middle slot, with the fan connected to this middle board. I think 4-pin fans will default to 100% if they're not getting a PWM signal, which I think might be the case if it was plugged into one of the side boards. Make sure you plugged in the miner boards fully into the controller (blue) board and that you didn't mistakenly offset the pins when plugging them in. If that fails I'd try re-flashing your OrangePi's sd card.

Did you get a partial refund for your bad board or are they going to send you a replacement?

Hi,

The defect hashboard is the 3th one. The fan is indeed in the middle.
So the first and middle are connected.

When i power on, i also see no network lights.
So i am also not able to login to the dashboard.

When i need to install the orange firmware again, which one do i need to use?

The repair is under warranty.

It is solved 

I did disassemble the baikal. switched the boards to position 2 and 3. and powered on.
Now it did power on, but i had only red lights. It showed no devices.

I solved with what i found a few pages back, about that the boards are in dfu mode.

Now it works again.
The only thing is after power down, i need to put the commands in again to get it working again.

Yea, by the time you get your unit the coin will be gutted. It's just like every other company. They "test" mine it themselves for weeks before shipping the units. So they make a killing and you get a week or so of good profits before it drops.

I think there might of been some misunderstandings.

I get where you are coming from and just wanted to let you know 1 bch will resolve these issues.

Keep in mind that the Giant B is still a month away from being delivered by Baikal and so you are still saving alot of money.

If I refund you now you will just have lost money and not gotten a product, one bch will put this issue to bed. It consumes so little energy that its a money maker no matter what happens to the price of coins because at the end of the day it will remain profitable.

The reason I had to adjust the price was because some people wanted to pay in Decred and that was not an option.

So we had to arrange an alternative form of payment minus their payment in Decred, and thats why you see the price fluctuate so much.
