Yes, of course, bitkoyn already shows its strength, and the value really grows. Imagine if you buy these many years ago when it was just a child. You are already multi-million. The same happens with other crypto-currencies.

We had great chances to be millionaires in the past.
I cannot say we will have the same chances in the future as well because the market is too fluctuating.
However, considering the cryptocurrency market is still at its early stage, we will get some chances for sure.

If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?

You can check coinmarketcap graphs to understand whether if it is possible or not. It is not that much hard. And yes it is very possible and i am sure there are people who already achieved it and reading your post at the moment

it will depend on what crypto you will buy and keep it for a long period of time and not for a daily trading. so I guess to do this of course you should have a very good strategy to choose some crypto that has a good chance for the future. so I think there needs to be a specific research about some crypto that you will choose for a long-term investment. and if I can give a recommendation to you, I think for now the bitcoin will come back to have a high enough price someday. my advice is to do a research before you hold some crypto for a long period of time regardless of what kind of crypto you choose.

Litecoin is still a very good coin, Litecoin is still Undervalued so no need to worry, If you buy Litecoin now with 10K and wait few years even Litecoin could make you Millionaire, My suggestion Once you buy Litecoin if you start looking at it everyday than you are never going to be satisfied because everyday price always flucutuate but overall in yearly base price of each and every Cryptocurrency ig Uptrend. Buy now save in wallet and close your wallet and save you wallet.dat in safe place come back in few year to look at your investment

Just to give you example i had more than 300BTC (2011 May 3 to July 26) Less than $3K if i had forgotten that i ever had that bitcoin and remembered today just imagine where i would be but we used bitcoin and not only me each and everyone try to use and trade and get some extra and spend from there.
Not to remember the rent i paid in 2013 with Bitcoin today's value of my rent is $25K/Month I believe you are enough intelligent to understand what i am trying to tell you.

lol i once wanted donate money to bitcoin, i didn't because of the hassle involved. I don't regret it, because i know if i bought some, i would not have my key and would be very depressed now. I just liked the idea and didn't thing it would make money.

Though some coins make a lot in a short time, but you never know when and which.

In my opinion everything is possible. In the crypto world, the most important thing is to diversify your assets. As on the real market. Also, not to run when the market starts to fall for 2 days, but to make a detail research what is going on and to be aware what is going on, so that you could predict such movements and to make the right choice.

This happened many times probably, but we're not one of those lucky ones. Hopefully early adopters of coins and tokens can make money from them in the future with a good amount possibly.

Million dollar is possible, for the same to be achieved user needs to have patience to keep hold even when the market fluctuates when you have fixed a target and stick to it. Particularly investing on ico's could get you such a big profiting than investing on high price coins.
