As far as I know, no exchanges are trading STR.

It would be nice to see it on an exchange again, I have 270k+ I'd like to trade.

Cryptsy:  All new look - USD Trading coming soon!

Those amounts will definately lower the price instantly xD.

Nah, kidding. If someone is going to add this coin on an exchange, please report it here!

I would love that!

The network has been on main fork for a while already, so that is a good sign.

BTW, the pool is still open and finding blocks str.minar.cc

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

Would be great, but I don't have much hope in it anymore.. Once a coin has crashed, its image isn't fastly restored.

We'll see.

Thank you Inifinitevs!

I received a big part of my Starcoins back. You're the hero of today Smiley

Hi Don,

Glad I could Help! Smiley

Now (and I am directing this at anyone that wants to be involved) what are we going to do about getting the coins trading again, NZDude mentioned in a previous post that he can't really dedicate himself to the project, I am happy to help where I can but what we need is a bunch of people willing to volunteer some time and more critically a project manager to organise what needs to be done, ie.

  • Updates to codebase, bug fixes etc
  • Advertising / Raising awareness for the coin / Restoring confidence
  • Get more pools online

NZDude, do you have anything to add, any ideas about moving forward, anyone please add their ideas??

I would be more than happy to get involved in bringing this coin back to life. We really need someone who is good at programming, issuing frequent updates, I think, would restore a lot of confidence in Starcoin. Unfortunately I am not this person.  Sad

Where do we need to start advertising to get Cryptsy's attention?

interestingly enough starcoin is listed in my balances on there but theirs no market for it?

I probably should just keep my mouth shut and keep mining it though...

Maybe you should Wink. As soon as it hits the exchanges again and gain some value again, many more people will try to mine it. The difficulty will rise, and you will receive less coins with the same hashpower you had before. Allthough it's hard for me to choose a coin to mine. I've got a couple of Altcoins of which I want a nice stock Cheesy

No, any troubles.

Well, I was for the past few days. Wallet kept crashing and wouldn't stay open, it seems to be ok now but it's running super slow and has about a 3 sec delay between when I click something and it actually opening what I click.

Most likely you are generating PoS blocks now.. check your transactions

Yes, I am but would that have been the cause of it crashing?

Atleast a better network hashrate I think, and the coin must stay stable.

And more supporters I guess ^^

Coin stable now.
And hashrate ? Just add it to cryptsy and hashrate rise up.

Yea, that's true. But I think Cryptsy requests a minimum hashrate in forehand, otherwise it's hard to use the coin (and transfer it, as it takes way too long). Allthough i'm not sure about that.
