Difficulty 261.8 Shocked
Don't sell too low! It is very hard to mine them now, only few blocks a day even on big clusters!

That is odd? My water cooled 3930k @ 4.6GHz finds several blocks a day still.

Checking I ain't missing something

Open the wallet then select the Help, then the Debug window, then select the Console and type Help then enter. I will list the commands you can use to get information. ie. getmininginfo etc....

I know how to do that and that I am mining.

Code:
{
"blocks" : 13639,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 126.36583437,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

However I don't know what the information means.

To be successful Quark needs

a) Nice clean logo
b) Domain and professional looking website
c) Pre-built Windows, OSX and Linux clients (all must have GUIs)

Can anyone help with these?

Each of these is key.

Quark is no joke-- it's going to be huge.  By employing 6 hash functions, it offers a strong diversification point for crypto-currency portfolios.  As it is CPU-based, it's also having a very healthy launch, in which the QRK is being distributed to a wide range of users, rather than just a few GPU farmers.  Even to this day QRK is quite profitable to CPU-mine.  These are the fundamental elements of success.

I can upload a compiled version of quarkcoind for those interested. Just add it to /usr/local/bin and do quarkcoind --daemon

That's a good start.  Thanks!

However, who is going to trust it?  The QRK devs will need to host it on an official site with checksums. Smiley

Can you send it to them?

* Total of 247 million QRK will be mined in ~ 6 months, after that ~ 1 million QRK p.a. (~ 0.5% p.a inflation)
Just noticed this. No point in touching this coin.

You don't like the total number, the mining schedule, or the inflation?

"currentblocksize" : 1000, = block size
"currentblocktx" : 0, =tax
"difficulty" : 126.36583437, = the difficulty of the current blocks
"errors" : "", = errors produced
"generate" : true, = not sure
"genproclimit" : -1, = enables all cores of the CPU to perform work
"hashespersec" : 0, = current hashrate but is not supported to display
"pooledtx" : 0, = tax payed
"testnet" : false = testnet to mine without effecting the blockchain, I think.
}

However I don't know what the information means.

I guessed at them, maybe it helps out some.

QRK is one of the hotter coins being talked about right now - as a community we need to keep the chit chat up as much as we can in all the exchange chat boxes. Btc-e / cryptsy / coins-e

The more we talk about the coin - the more people will look into it!

Nice work!   Is there someone out there with webdev skills?  Something like FTC or BTB's website would be nice.

Do we have a professional looking logo?
