I agree with other comments here.
Ethereum is one of the good things to invest to. See how much it grew in just two weeks.
Although there have been downs, maybe others already panicked and sold it. But again it grew to a larger price of $772 and we should be on that boat too just like bitcoin.

I think there are a couple of coins that are going to go big in 2018... My list is

DeepOnion - very under valued privacy coin
Cardana - good alternative to eth
Civic - unqiue real life use seems quiet under valued
Dragon coin - looks like a reeally cool project.
Ethereum - i think eth is going to do another break out like it did when it jumped from 30 dollars almost a year ago.

You really need to be very involved with Themonkii and all his associates to think that DeepOnion can be one of the most promising altcoins of 2018. I do not think the annoying spam that you and your mates are distributing all over the net makes you gain more followers willing to invest their money in a futile and uncompetitive altcoin. On the contrary, such spam is giving you a well-deserved antipathy in this crypto universe.

I stopped watching after you kept on saying Ripple is cheap, just because its 70cents doesn't mean its cheap!!! Look at the supply.

In terms of the USD, it is fairly cheap per coin compared to LTC ETH and BTC, which is what I was comparing it to. I also made note of the supply in the video and talked about how the coin doesn't have the same volatility.

I second this, I used to be a devoted Vericoin holder. I would also like to mention that they have a binary blockchain vision with Verium. It's POW rather than POS and is asic/gpu resistant, whats so great about it is it can be merge mined with Vericoin so it speeds up vericoins blocks.

Vericoin is like the cash and verium is like the digital asset, also they have a 3rd party developer working on an app called incentify where the in app currency will be vericoin.

Disclaimer- I own no vericoin at the moment but I know that it's a legit project and could do extremely well in 2018.

Agree on XSPEC. Definitely not the potential most powerful coin, but still drastically undervalued. It can be compared to DeepOnion, but wins in every single case and it's price is growing fast even without help of spammer-like community.

Bitcoin (BTC)
Etheruem (ETH)
Waves
Litecoin (LTC)

I  went through all the coins with a market cap under $100m and the only two with unique tech are XBY AND PASC and there's one more I haven't bought yet so I'm not going to pump it right now.

Very few top 50 coins are a good value now many have gone up 10 fold in a month. ARK is still cheap so I rotated into that and out of NXT/Ardor.

Keep in mind the lower a coins market cap the easier it is to make a gain.  The price of the coin means nothing.  The fact so many care about a coins price shows me a lot of new "dumb money" is investing.  I've got my stop order levels in mind.

A few tips:

1. You have the best chance of succeeding when you diversify.
2. Find a coin that has a specific utility (i.e. there must be some functionality behind it). If the Bitcoin bubble does perhaps pop in 2018, these coins with real functionality will be the last ones standing.

I recommend the following for 2018:

- BTC (not more than 40% your portfolio)
- ETH (invest as much as you can)
- ETN (invest as much as you can)
- LTC (the race is on between Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash to see which one will be the true transactional coin)
- BCC
- IOTA
