Bitcoin has gone down from $19000 to $16000 which is a drop of $3000 . This couldn't happen without a reason and the reason for the dump is the pump of BTC. Coinbase announced the support of Bitcoin Cash and as soon as this happened the founder of the largest Bitcoin site announced that he has sold all his BTC and have exchanged them for BCH. Coincedently this guy happens to be a good friend of Roger Ver who is the owner of Bitcoin Cash. This couldn't be a coincedence but a well planned strategy for another pump and dump. As the pump which was done a month back this one seems to be carrying out pretty well as BTC has gone down and BCH has spiked up all of a sudden.
Yeah, sure. The saddest thing in this whole history is to get another proof of how much bitcoin price is subjected to decision of some few people.

It is a solid manifestation how volatile bitcoin's value is. It went off from 19,000$ to 15,000$ in just a span of couple of hours. Well, it's the good timing to buy bitcoin at a lower cost because the graph is showing bitcoin price is starting to rise yet again.

Do you think it will go back up? if BTC goes down way lower would it be wise to buy more into it
Maybe bitcoin lacks of supply anymore because people who has bitcoin hold it until the price goes up. That's why bitcoin rises up so that people who hold bitcoin will sell them back. There maybe a shortage of bitcoin. And now, they have enough supply so bitcoin price goes down.

Its just the usual thing. The price would pump up again sooner or later. there's no need of any panics. And this is a great hole for investors to buy and invest btc while the price is dumped down a little. As a matter of fact I'm gonna buy a little myself

I think all bitcoin users know why bitcoin today is down, it's because sales are more inflated than purchases. on 29-30 December is the right time to buy bitcoin, and bitcoin will rise again in early 2018.

it is true that bitcoin's price went down earlier today from 19k usd down to 16k usd, but in just a few hours it had regained it strength and is now at 17k usd, which i think is correction, since the price had gone up to 20k usd, we also need time to bu bitcoin at this point. one reason i also see, is people are starting to trade, since bitcoin's price went up, value of altcoins had been crashing, and now bitcoin had a slight dip and the value of altcoin's rose, from what i see, this is just normal to investing, like in the stock market, you buy blue chips, once it rises, sell it then but penny stocks to gain more potential profit, in this case more profits with altcoins, and once the price of altcoins had risen there is no way but down, and the price of bitcoin will go up, since people already had gained profit from the altcoin market, they now have a lot of buying power to buy bitcoins.

2023 would most likely be as bearish as 2022

As per my knowledge this happended due to sudden up of bitcoin. During past weeks btc went up 20000 usd suddenly. This is unusual.
Now people panic and sell btc that the dump of this. Some investers transfer btc to alts. So alts may rise up

we all need universal power and cyclist of Everything -2023 would most likely be as bearish as 2022- =BTC will make it, but might be a long winter=

I think bitcoin going down is'nt a bad thing, if it does'nt going down and always increasing there's a really big chance that bitcoin will be a bubble bitcoin right now is really high and there is'nt a single price correction so i think we will gonna see a price correction sooner but bitcoin value going down is'nt bad at all it's just normal.

Lots of funds changing hands from BTC and alts towards BCH due to today's news, the latest push being from Coinbase listing BCH.
Not sure where it will head, but I think a lot of people who joined the world of crypto during this "bubble" may be looking towards BCH and thinking > $10k in a few months. Time will tell, however I'm skeptical as always...
Before, I was thinking that it's for the stability since there was a great and aggressive increase. But by the news, BCH gaining support from different platforms and exchanges worries me that faithful btc holders might be triggered or worst shift to BCH because of bitcoin being incompetent in its present problems. I think that until scaling problems are unresolved, this kind of coasters which is a negative one will continue.

Even if it goes down below the 10K$ USD Level, I would still buy more, and more of it. BTC is far more stable compared to those days that People are still clueless about it. I'd definitely buy more, and hold it until it breaks another all time high record!

it is a simple price correction after a long and big rally. it is not something you create a topic about really. just like when it is going up! and right now we are having another bitcoin cash pump, like the last time and they are manipulating the price again. so i guess it may even drop more. Do you think it will go back up? if BTC goes down way lower would it be wise to buy more into it
of course it will. but it will take a while. first they dump and then weak hands start to panic and price goes down a lot. after a while of accumulation and drama it will come back up.

Don't you worry when the BCT is down maybe there are try to pump the price again before the end of the year. The price is going back maybe there is maintenance or some of fork is going on. I'm gonna hodl and wait for the price until it increase again.

Really the price of bitcoin has been going down, there is no cause for panic sell because this is a usual occurrence if you have been an ardent follower of crypto markets, this is happened some few days ago when the price dropped dip from $16k+ to $12K before it rally upward, presently a pin bar candlestick is forming on daily timeframe which may signal upward trend in days ahead.

I was pretty expecting this to happen. Btc goes up in December because people got more money to invest due to the additional Christmas bonus etc. And the price goes down also at the latter part of December because people esp who do not hold btc for long term investment gets too excited with the gain they earned. They want to spend it right away for holiday getaway, Christmas present whatsoever. Then on January upto March btc will again regain its control in the market. For now do not panic, again btc is best managed by those emotionally stable persons that do not easily get carried away by sudden change in thr btc price. The higher the risk, the greater the return just like in stocks, bonds or any type of investment.

Yes, I think it's reasonable to go down because the bitcoin prices are unstable, of course we do not need to panic if the bitcoin goes down. That's our chance to buy as much bitcoin as possible, because as we know, bitcoin will go back up and the price will be higher later on.
