There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

this market is unpredictable because currency markets are highly volatile markets and one good or bad news make huge effect.corrections always  happen when market goes to peak.

I do not think altcoin might be crashing again but then, never say never in cryptocurrency space. If bitcoin continuing it's price increase in the new year, it is only natural that people  will dump their altcoin for bitcoin.

The market always develops undulating. There will be falls and ups. We must constantly monitor the news, make a fundamental analysis. Then you can catch such moments.

I think crashing is inevitable to any forms of digital currencies in the cryptoworld. That's also unpredictable since cryptos are volatile where its market value can go high like crazy before it crashes down or correction has to be made.

There is no crush between altcoins. It's just BTC goes up faster then altcoins. So this is temporary event.

What I know is Bitcoins price change is inversely proportional to the price of change of altcoins. As more Bitcoins price increases, people sell their altcoins to buy bitcoins. If you want to know when altocoins is crashing, then base on the anology above, let see bitcoin rises again and we can say altcoins is crashing again. But is theoretical.

I think the crash is from B2X hardfork that scheduled on Dec.28 and this Made a blood bath on altcoin.

The fork itself is a scam, and if even is not is such strange they ask for private keys, there is a topic about this in the forum.

Actually fork doesn't effect alts directly. Most important thing for alt coins is bitcoin's strength, you can observe yourself that whenever bitcoin is falling, alt coins are also falling at the same time. some people expect bitcoin to get low against alt coins but this cannot happen logically.

The fork coin just bring another competitor to the bitcoin itself and only increase the list of altcoin. It's not disrupting the altcoin. When bitcoin was falling and altcoin will be following it but when bitcoin increase and altcoin just try to regain a half from the total bearish. Fork coin of bitcoin just another altcoin that generates from the bitcoin.

Will altcoins crash again ?

Every day some altcoins chrash or rise, these currencies are not like the other traditional currencies. So, avoid panic sells and try to be patient. Decreasing of a coin's price doesn't bring disasters every time.

It's difficult to call the crashing if we compare the same situation with bitcoin. But yes, Ethereum will be more falls, because without falls there are no ups

If you call corrections crash, welcome to the roller coaster, if that makes you feel seasick, leave the boat.
Here is a market where fudge, pump and dump, decentralized, not regulated, full of whale, market makers, inside trading and a lot of other things that make the volatility really hard, but it is an upward trend, don´t believe it, compare the top 100 coins of last years and see how many failed. Yes a few, but calculate if you had invested $100 on every one of them, I mean, just $10000 total, how much would you have today. You may feel free to exclude bitcoin if you will, just alt, and let me know what do you call a crash.

if bitcoin trying to increase again then altcoin will crash but I don't know how much it will get down. we have seen this before when bitcoin increase back and push the altcoin going to down although it is not for all altcoin, it gives a big impact for all coins. I only hope for now on, the altcoin will make a new high price first and then if bitcoin wants to increase, the altcoin has a new position in price and if they are going down, the price is not dropped too deep like before.

I doubt that all alts depends on bitcoim though bitcoin is the popular crypto, there are still alts that is useful and can be used by the government itself to maximize the technology that is available.

I think bitcoin crashes are caused by the crawling of Bitcoin and hardfork Bitcoin prices. when the news happens definitely Bitcoin price down. actually, this is an opportunity to take a profit
