This project will be built on an upcoming Lisk SDK? Why dont you accept lsk tokens as one of the ICO currencies?

And what is wrong with the Telegram? Quite safe messenger. And absolutely free.

You can view the key differences between Telegram and the ADAMANT Messenger here:

So a good thing about telegram is that people who spam can get banned. Viber is quite annoying with every-time-advertising messages.
What are you going to do with spammers on your platform?

Spam will cost ADM tokens, thus adding increased value to the platforms token.

Looks nice, but I’m not sure about your project yet. Why you decided to go to ICO?

ADAMANT Messenger is a business model.
ICOs help to raise capital for further business ventures and incentivise contributors to invest in the project with the motivation of profit.
This rapidly increases productivity and development of the project.

Why would anyone want to pay for sending anonymous messages when there's already Bitmessage available for this same purpose and bitmessage is totally free, decentralized and anonymous?

Better get some cold hard crypto instead... get some Semux!

ADAMANT Messenger has incredible ease of use, no installation is needed. The in-browser messenger comes with a virtual currency and can be sent within the platform, in-built wallets featuring 5 second/TXs.
Blockchain and similar cryptographic methods are also highly reputable.

I get the concept of using an anonymity selling point but after all is said and done isn't the strongest selling point of any project that truly wants to survive long term be anonymity? It's a good looking project and I'll like to encourage the devs to highlight extra strong points too

Thank you for your feedback, your constructive criticism is highly-valued, and we have noted your comment.
Anonymity is definitely one of the strongest points for our project.

Invest in the only and already active messenger on a blockchain. Today is the most profitable condition. We accept ETH, BTC, BCH, DASH, DOGE, LTC, XMR, NEM, ETC, ZEC, WAVES, LSK, REP, GNO, ICN, MCO, ANT, CVC, EOS, DNT, OMG, DCR. https://adamant.im/ico/

Or just download and run Bitmessage which has been around for years and doesn't cost you to send messages.

They don't have mobile app and updates.
And decetralized can't bee free.

Then, telegram + prepaid disposable number. You don't leave any trail of your ID, you get an access to telegram that can both be used from phone and pc.

People are not willing to put in the effort that is required to stay anonymous, the ADAMANT Messenger creates an ease-of-use for many users who enjoy the benefits of staying private.

You dont want to block messages about black market and etc.?

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but the black market is not something to fear, it's a variation of the free market and will always exist regardless of anyone or anything.
As long as there are 2 people trading "illegally" (depending on the law in the given state), then the 'black market' will always exist.
There is no need to fear such circumstances, as governments would like you to think. On our platform no messages can be blocked.

Can you please explain why we need another messenger ?

Why whatsapp, wechat, telegram, kick are not good ? Telegram and kick propose decentralized blockchain currency as well.

Anonymity, privacy, and security.
ADAMANT Messenger provides far more than all of those combined.
Also it's an open source project.

What is the function of this project in the future? ADAMANT is not the first one to send information, NXT has a similar function.

A lot of users here are asking what the need for the ADAMANT Messenger is when there are so many free messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, etc.

To give you some perspective, the main purpose of the ADAMANT Messenger is to provide security, anonymity, and privacy. If these traits are not important to you, then they cannot be compared to free applications that do not provide these features. Many instant free messaging softwares provide some form of verification (usually a phone number or email address), but ADAMANT requires none.

When you use a "free" messenger, you're paying in other ways. Your email address, phone number, public connections, location, IP, device information, interests, images, and other sensitive information is transferred to these centralized companies that decide how to use it. Your information can be sold to any government, corporation, or conglomerate that they choose. We can see this happening around the world with the use cases of "Big Data".

With ADAMANT, you know exactly what price you're paying. There is nothing hidden, it's an open-source project.
You can view a full list of comparisons in the following table: https://image.ibb.co/cPa4gx/ADAMANT_vs_the_rest.png

There are many countries around the world where these features are desperately needed, places that restrict the access of many online applications such as Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. Countries that are run by oppresive regimes and governments that would imprison civilians based on their opposition to ideas of the state. Privacy and freedom is simply a human right, and cannot be denied.

Perhaps some of the users here may be looking at things the wrong way, by comparing ADAMANT to these free messaging applications, thus invalidating the need for any use cases of the ADAMANT Messenger. This is simply not the scenario for every human being in the world. Value from the ADAMANT Messenger will be provided to the individuals that require and use it, regardless of their location around the world.

So long time has passed before we see the first truly anonymous messenger on blockchain. Anyway its will be hard to move telegram... Good luck devs.

Please see the above post.

That comparison against other product shows huge potential for this messaging platform if the promised tech is delivered in presented way. This the industry which still have huge space of growth for every project which ensures real privacy and security of data. It looks interesting but need to read it well.

Thank you for your comment, it's very appreciated.

Not yet AFAIK, however you should test the app for yourself, it seems this guys rather invest their time working on their tech then marketing in general.

I really do see a bright future here, but test it and let me know :p

It's nice to see how your project develops.
It's high time to make a safe anonymous messenger and compete with the telegram.
I applied for a test version of IOS

Thank you.

Your app is free? Do you have own coin?  What will you do with Russian government, you heard story about Telegram?

App is free. We have our own coin called ADM.
Governments can be circumvented by anonymity, and privacy.
These are the traits that the ADAMANT Project is developing.
