Did anyone on here get one? I made it all the way to hitting the "Place Order" button before it hung on me.

Also at one point I was about to make payment and there was no Paypal option. And how come the miners from order that i'm about to pay suddenly are out of stock. Really poor job.

I was refreshing the site every 5 seconds until i saw the "Add to cart" button.
Added 2 units, got to the checkout page, filed my info and the "Payment" part was greyed-out.
When I was able to get that working, it never went past that page.
Then out-stock error showed up.
How many units did they have in stock ?
Probably 2 ...

So, I guess Blockforge sucks equally for most of us.

I got an order in!! Sorry, guys... I've been on the other end before too.
It took almost 20 minutes before the page would load and show that they had them in stock. Then it was just a slow march to the checkout line.
Insane that even with the price nearly doubled and a limit of two per person there is still that much demand.
Anyone have any idea how large the order was?

Based on the response here, looks like it was 2.

This is just the beginning!
It is going to be like this from here on out. Wait until the A8 is released. It will sell out within minutes just like this. The websites servers will not be capable of handling the traffic to purchase one of these machines. I am pretty sure that blokforge had at least a pallet for sale today.

Canaan won't handle orders less than 60 units, so unless this was a special case, it was at least one pallet. Still, that's only 30 people that were able to order if it was only one pallet. They just increased the price of the s9 to $5000 as well... does not bode well for the A8 release.

Two is great, but adding an additional happy customer is better.

I agree. It is becoming harder and harder to buy miner's with the crazy demand and I can't see it changing any time soon. I didn't get any of the 741's and the last few batches of Pangolin M3 have gone on sale and been sold out before you can even add the items to your cart. Pangolin had 200-300 machine's for sale yesterday which sold out in seconds. Get used to the refresh button buys. Each time you press it cross your fingers and hope for the best. Perhaps by late January or some time in February demand will catch supply and we can stock up on hardware...but maybe not.

The miner manufacturer's will never allow supply to catch up with demand. Bitmain, Canaan, all the others... they're all mining with their own hardware. They make a TON by having access to so many more of the highest efficiency miners available (at cost!).
I don't see it changing ever. They further legitimized BTC by allowing BTC Futures trading on the NYSE. Now everyone sees the crazy swings and potential profit to be made. There are a lot of people that only know to go to eBay to look for the miners... and they are willing to pay the insane prices! So not only are us smaller guys competing against each other and the medium to large mining operations, but now we're competing with every idiot with too much money and an eBay account.

In emailing with Nick at blokforge over the past week, he claimed that they had "less than 100" units coming in for 741s, and 1500 people on the waiting list. All I know is that I didn't get one despite herculean efforts on my end during their half-assed "sale" this evening.
Anyone thinking of reselling their 741s? PM me first, I have cash and bitcoin waiting and out of principle I refuse to pay the insane ebay prices. But I will give you a mild profit.

Sitting on the computer 10 minutes prior the selling and still no buy. the site was dead at one point. Poor work there Blokforge. Wish there is something we could say here that we did wrong, but over 2000 people trying to purchase less than 100 units at the exact same minute, not all orders can get processed.
