There is no such thing as overcoming depression but there are certain ways that can actually help to avoid being depress. First, you have to sorround yourself with positive environment and friends. Lastly, you should have an appointment with psychiatrist.

Let's be open to our friends/family. We need to interact to them a lot, communication is the key. The more we spend good times to them is good to our health mentally. More happy times less stress less depress.

When I get depressed with the problems I face, I will stay strong with a focus on the goals I need to achieve. For a variety of issues the important thing at the time of depression is to surrender to God to deliver our problem through prayer. In addition I will take the time to calm down by taking a walk to a quiet place and there we can think of the next step that we will face. And tell our friends that they can provide solutions or suggestions that we should do.

I admit i overcome depression .i have anxiety sometimes i feel i always scared and other people even my family dont understand what i feel.i force myself to fight anxiety i focus on work i always talk to anyone i listen to relaxibg music as wat the doctor said.and now i can control it already.it attack sometimes but i know how to control.

I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?

If the depression of your friend is to deep you can consult a psychiatrist to help her. strong support group is also important. You as a friend always lend your ears for her whenever he need someone to talk to. Keep an open communication with her. Always make her feel loved and special that’s the most important thing that she needs everyday. You don’t need to say anything to make her feel better your presence is enough. Hug her when she’s feeling down.
If a person can overcome depression on her/his own? Maybe yes, maybe no, different person different outlook of life. It’s really depends on the person.

To overcome depression, people around him/her should be supportive in any way. Let that people feel that he/she is not alone and support everything. Be attentive in any signs of depression. They may look happy and talkative sometimes but deep inside, they are crying. Let them feel that they are loved and that we are here for them.

The best way is to seek for professional help. They could make intervention programs specific for your friends case. Not all disorders are the same all though they manifest almost same behavior, It will be pretty hard for you to handle it on your own. Unless you're a registered psychiatrist/ psychologist.

Don't be alone. Browse internet or hang out with friends. You can't feel depressed.

Hanging out with friends can be a good suggestion, but browsing the internet can never be a good option. Browsing is not going to divert your attention from the main issues and even when you do browsing, you will feel the same depression levels as before.

Here are, i have some solution to over ome depression.
First,  if you feel like anyone dont understand you or you are depression you can share your problem to your friends. Second,  do the things you like or your hobby.  Maybe it can decrease your depression. Third,  you should have a good nutrition such as eat a nutrition food also drink juice or anything that make your health better. Fourth, you can go travelling to forget your problem. Maybe go to mountain, beach,  or forest is a good idea when you feel tired in life, i think nature is the best medicine.
Okay,  thats all to overcome depression by me.

I think the best way to overcome depression is to recollect or rethink on what is your purpose here on earth. You just need a break from reality, you need someone who you can talk with and share you feelings, heartbreaks, and problems. If you do not have family or friends to talk with there is God who is always willing to listen all day and all night. Tell Him whats your problems and go to sleep and I am sure tomorrow all of those things will be lessen and gone. Just don't lose hope because He will not give us problems that we can not overcome.



The only way to fight against depression is to rejoice and recreate yourself. Make joy not worries. Enjoy your life to the fullest. Start your day with a positivity, avoid anxiety.

"Just talk to people. Socialize." Well, overcoming depression is easier said than done. To some, depression is still a stigma. Not all are fully informed of depression so when one admits dealing with this mental illness, we act negatively or we try to play the "Mr. Know-It-All" friend. Worst part is some think it is a make-up condition that it does not really exist. The victim himself can not overcome depression on his own. So, awareness plays an important role. The people around especially the family must be supportive in anyway they can. Accompanying the depressed to the psychiatrist, reminding him to take his medicines on time, providing financial support and creating a happy environment are some ways to ease the burden of the person battling depression.

Try to make a scale of your misfortunes from 0 to 10, which, in your opinion, deprived the life of joy and happiness. Then sort your troubles by importance.

For example, a broken nail deserves 2 points, 6 points for a quarrel with a mother, and 10 points - a betrayal of a loved one.

And now think, is it worth the nail of tears and emotions, when you can not breathe without your second half?

Moving to the background of minor incidents, you will spend all your strength and emotions on solving the main trouble for you!

Find some things that make you interested.  Socialize with others and love yourself. Eventually,  you will overcome depression.  Last but not the least, you should find a real friend that you can talk to about things that you cannot share with your family or your partner.

Ridiculous suggestion. When someone is depressed, how is it possible for him to engage in recreational activities? Perhaps you have never undergone severe depression and therefore you don't know how that works. But it it a very dangerous condition, and I know it because I have experienced it.

Depression is a common illness in society. worse if the prolonged depression. I think looking to the experts is needed the most, they will diagnose psychological and there are obvious adjustments. they have the advice of lifestyle, sleep, exercise, proper circumstances to reduce psychological stress. It is the most effective method.
