This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.
What do you think is the main reason? Do you think its price will still rise?

I will like you to see it in 3 ways.
1. See it as a correction that was bound to happen anyway, after the huge non stop buying for months now.
2. See it as whales cashing out and some noobs getting scared and selling at losses. (they will get to learn from experience later on)
3. See it as a Christmas gift, if you want to get in at a lesser price because later on, this year or next year, we are coming back at some point to test back the previous top. Some call it black Friday for crypto shopping.
Jokes apart though, there is really nothing to worry about. You are welcome to the volatile world of crypto. It is a bloodbath out there right now and they happen once in a while. It will pass and forget anything else you are hearing.

I think it is because a summary from the 3 reasons above that made this huge down fall. But I wil keep hodling my coins and will se what 2018 brings. |

Bitcoin is the currency and there will be up and down in this currency the currency market from the start to till now are very sensitive and volatile. the price is getting low for now and we can not control it it in the demand and supply of this currency and the big investors who holded much amount of bitcoin they can move the prices to some sort of. the articles and the senior users of this currency have posted different posts regarding the fall in price but the main theme of all of them are same. currency is very sensitive and a small change can bring large changes.

rising and falling bitcoin prices that are common, sometimes every business that will not continue smoothly, sometimes there is also a bend like road. better bitcoin price up or down we are grateful only. because the business is also so, no need to be surprised. |

if in my view by analyzing the market because the decline is not just from bitcoin alone but all the digital currency based on blockchain are all experiencing price decline, this possibility is caused because some old traders withdraw profits and want to get profit but this can also happen because of the issue politics abroad. I still do not know exactly what is the main cause but if only analysis I can conclude like that. |

Honestly, we cannot really say what exactly the main reason why Bitcoin price are crashing right now, but one thing is for sure that no one can possibly be able to obtain majority of hashing power and hack Bitcoin until today. And I am pretty sure that new cryptocurrencies are definitely not the main reason why this is happening, there are new altcoin that is being created almost everyday and nothing really affects Bitcoin price. What I think is it's just big investors that are taking their profit and this is expected to happen as the price of Bitcoin dramatically increase in just short period of time. |

(they will get to learn from experience later on) I'm already at lost for around $100 and counting, just holding my Bitcoins. The value of my losses is pretty small for some other countries but from the place I live, its a big deal. I was thinking of cashing them out when I notice the price dropped down a bit 4 days ago. To be honest, I'm pretty shocked the way it dramatically goes down. Same with what I feel when it rises. This is the first time I kept checking at its value since my noob days years back. I'm just glad that my patience pays off as I could get through with my emotions unlike before. I do see it the same way and learned from my experience. I just hope that this will be over soon. |

It is not that low. i mean this is obvious the christmas is coming many people are buying somethings that they want this christmas they are withdrawing some of their bitcoins. for sure the bitcoin price will decrease but once people get back to normal again this will be gonna great.

And are you really worried about it? The price is going up again, i dont see any "real" problem on it to be worried about the price. It is recovering again, and that is the only thing that matters right now.
It touched less than 10000, and now it is recovering, just calm down and left your computer, it will be over 20000 by the next year.

It is not that low. i mean this is obvious the christmas is coming many people are buying somethings that they want this christmas they are withdrawing some of their bitcoins. for sure the bitcoin price will decrease but once people get back to normal again this will be gonna great.
majority of token holders are tanking their portfolio to the market and then they will buy it again later. But there is a lot of people are feeling panic caused by this big bearish trend in the crypto. How newcomers make the situation to be more difficult. They are also dumping it to follow the trend. |

The fall is basically a correction, it is going to stablilise with time. We should have already known that this will come and this is the reason one should know when to sell except holding for long time.

Yes of course it will still rise! are you new to crypto currencies? I only see the reason is the correction of value. There are so many times that bitcoins having a problem and having a deep dump but still can recover. This is the time for bitcoin holder to test their patience toward this difficulties. |

Over the past 48 hours, my total holdings decreased in value a little over 25% ( I am in 4 different cryptos). Do I like it? No. However, if history tells us anything it is that any stock, currency, or whetever else is treaded tends to have a certain volitility. Crypro currency is wildly volitile so I guess it is not for the faint of heart. I am holding my currency and if it contunues to plummet, I will simply buy more at the lower prices and then wait until the value goes back up. I believe that all of the currencies that I am holding will rebound. As the song says...'Every little thing is gonna be alright...'

I don't think it has go to do anything with the hacking of bitcoin or mining stuff etc. There is no news like that and if its not official then you might have read some kind of rumour really. This drop in price has got to do something about correction, panic selling and locking of the profits in first place. Also, I don't think that there is any new crypto coming or has arrived in the market which is able to disturb the bitcoin. If its currency other than the BTC then its probably alt coin and I don't think there is any alt coin which is worth dropping the bitcoin! Yes the price will rise again. |

Up to now, no one really knows for certain what happened to the whole crypto market. Just a few days, we are all riding in all-time-high, now we are slumping. This is just very volatile market and unpredictable. However, I don't know what you mean by hack or mine bitcoins. Can you please share the link that you have read. Its no longer a correction for me. The price has shoot down to more than 40%. This is a major crash. 2. See it as whales cashing out and some noobs getting scared and selling at losses. (they will get to learn from experience later on)
More like this is the scenario that I'm looking at. Whales cashing out, weak hands have been shaken, whales manipulates, newbies sells and panics without realizing that they are loosing profit from all of this deceptions. Whales get back in the market by making huge orders and holding once more. 3. This is another perfect time to buy bitcoin because its cheap. By in small orders and see how it goes. Yes, market is violent and volatile if you have weak hearts, this is not for you. Hard lessons if you listen to those FUD waves that is going around. Used your common sense. Never sell in a crash. Just hold and let it settles in the next couple of days. |

it is true that for the past few weeks the btc price has fallen if I think it is because of the possibility of declining public interest for the end of this year, maybe because of an ugly btc issue, or maybe from others who do not like the success of this btc, it will not last long, btc will recover again even will increase again, i am sure it's
