I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

it is not an addiction of course. there are similar things that cause those kind of acts. such as loosing in gambling, loosing in forex, loosing your jub, loosing profit in real estate investment etc. there are risks everywhere.

i don't think that crypto is addictive but i know for sure that gambling is stuff like that happens all the time with people putting money they can't afford to lose on extremly volatile assets in a not so regulated market you kind of know how the story ends. i think i love crypto so much because i have a minor gambling addiction nothing out of the normal though  Grin

It is an addiction, yeah. Because it is very interesting and profitable doing that could become a good alternative for the full time jobs. I am sure that crypto is much better.

I myself trade. And I like it. When I'm tired of trading, I just do not trade. And I try to reduce my risks to a minimum. I'd rather earn less, but I will not lose anything. As I think it's not an addiction.

I'm looking for the name of a branch ... I'm looking at the process from the standpoint of getting a profit. Trading as a game does not attract me

Of course, this dependence. It's like gambling. Only on a smaller scale. Not everyone is ready for such volatility and that is why nerves can not withstand many.

It may be so, especially for people who get real money from it, I don't doubt that it may be a really addiction.

At first it seems you will be addicted to crypto. But eventually you will get used to it and sometimes don't mind it as well as long as you know that you are in the right position of your order. The fact that you are making money will turn you into addiction.

Crypto trading is the same as playing casino. You become addicted if you can't control yourself

I think that any money can cause this, crypto is no exception, but for me it is too much, equating to large deviations in the psyche.

Well, i've also lost a lot of money in crypto, but I know how to gain even more,so i don't see reasons to make such silly steps as jumping in window, it looks weird.
I understand that guy was stressed, but such decision is the worst

I think it's not crypto trading that is addictive, but the act of making money / gambling.
A lot believe that crypto is gambling. What about we call it an investment. We invest our time and money into cryptos, and most times it is worth it. The fact that we might sometimes loss doesn't make it a gamble, because sometimes we involve ourselves in and business and fail as well.

It is a truth in some cases, because if you want to have a good income and benefit from crypto you have to be so attentive and ready for the work in the each part of the day that could be very important when you are going to sell coins or buy them.

I can't completely deny your statement. Actually everything has advantages and disadvantages. We should select what we need to take. We can't say trading is addictive. It's depends on how we are acting or responding in trading.

Crypto trading is basically gambling of a kind. same things happen during 1970 Hong Kong share market crash, millions loss millions of dollars each during the crash, the tragedy repeat itself every 6-10 years.

the main reason is greed. people see the opportunity and all in to the market not knowing when it will crash. until they realise, its too late. the stake was too high. suicide is the easy escape.

It seems to me that you can get addicted to anything. I'm sorry that young people die because of the low price.
