there wiil ba more ICO than in 2017 but less ICO that make profit i think
I think that is exactly the point. Most Icos atm are too popular and have a standard cap of 25-30 Millions. So it's hard to get into and when you get into it it's mostly capp'd. but will be interesting to see how the next few months turn out.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I think ICOs will not die this year(2018). Even in the news they say goodbye ICOs and welcome TAOs. ICOs is popular by now and are participating on it.and ICOs are made just to gain much profit so it cant die.

I think ICO will never die in 2018…because not only individual but companies are involving in ICO’S
ICO’S attracting peoples for handsome money in short time.
But it’s not risk free…because some ICO are not fulfilling requirement of the project & In that condition you have to bear.

I don't think that ICO will die because ICO is one why altcoins are being launched , they are the one who can give a name to a certain altcoins in the cryptocurrency markets and make that altcoin to be popular and ICO is the one why there are investors aof altcoin. It won't die because ICO is important to the cryptocurrency world.

If anything, ICOs are very likely to flourish in 2018. More money coming in + earlier investors making more money in and putting that money back towards ICOs.

I hope the ICO craze will end soon.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

But a lot of crypto-newbies gamble with them thinking they know what they're doing and that crypto is all about pumping and dumping random "projects". These people ignore, or not even aware what crypto stands for and just giving a bad name to it. And they will eventually get burned and hate cryptos altogether. Profits aren't made from nothing, it comes from other people's losses.

The more trustless, decentralized and transparent the better.

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

i dont think so. it cant be remove , its a business and way of income of some people uner ico it depends on the user if they will get scam.

I agree with what you said about ICO getting populated by scams as well as projects that are not yet proven whether promising or not. Of course, it is much much better if the project that will be offering an ICO has already a track record where potential investors can assess. This is the edge of those projects whose companies have already existed way before they consider the ICO way of gathering more investment.

I don't think that ICO will die, but I see some regulations or anything regarding them as the cryptoworld is filled with scam ICO right now and something has to be done about it.

Yeah, you're right with that those scammers are launching an ICO with no product they are so stupid that they could scam all investors. Evidence is more important here to make investors stick with it because they see the future with your company. I think ICO's will never get die in 2018 because so many of them are legitimate and investors knows that and more company will launch an ICO this year.

ICOs are continuing in 2018 and new projects will be coming on in many issues. All ICOs aren't deceptions because many projects have raised funds through ICO and these projects are evolving.  Only investors should be very very careful in choosing which project is good.

As long as there is no restriction by the government, ICO will continue to increase.
For now, based on what I have notice there are already thousands of ICOs and there are legitimate and scam ICOs so we have to be consistent
in choosing the right ICO all the time so we can get our expectation.

Yes! I think ICOs will not die in 2018.There is no doubt that the ICO market has seen nothing but success yet, and there are some fundamentally strong projects in the market, but a correction is due in time. One of the key factors fueling the ICO frenzy was a lack of regulations, but that is changing gradually. In my opinion,
we could expect some red taping around ICOs in the coming years. A strict framework is not necessarily bad news as it will help in separating good projects from bad ones and potential scams
