Short-term is quite profitable, but it requires a lot of time and knowledge in trading, so it is also very risky for you. I chose long-term investment, because i don't have much time. I prefer to find out perspective coins and buy it for a year or more. I know several traders that prefer long-term to short-term due to the fact that it is easier and almost as profitable as trading.
Yes sometimes short time are more profitable if we have extensive knowledge about the crypto market and if we are upto date with crypto market and for long term we need to invest into ICO. both short and long term investment are profitable however long term is still more beneficial and makes a lot of sense rather than short term. in my case I actually do them both because I have a bitcoin and altcoin in my portfolio. altcoin is for long term because it's obvious that their values will take time to grow and bitcoin on the other hand will always pump in just a matter of time.

I invest 75% in long term. But i dont say just BTC and ETH in my long term portfolio. I invest altcoin that i really believe their projects and team. 25% in short term invest to earn some money. Sometimes I follow dump and pumps. And it is risky but i do it with less money

It all depends on how you have steel eggs. Because personally I do not have such patience for short-term investments, so I never participate in margin trading. Since I believe that this is more like a casino than a normal trading.

the short term sometimes surprising and there is always a price that rises suddenly, so prefer the short term because the results obtained can be felt quickly and directly without having to wait for a long time.

To maximize the profit in crypto market, iam doing both but i select different coin for longterm and short term. For long term i select some popular coin that listed in top 10 ranking in coinmarketcap and strong in fundamental like ETH, DASH, NEO, OMG by portfolio 50% and other 50% of money i use for day trading.

My bet is long term. In order to be good at short term investing you necessary have to follow all trading rules and be totally stressless. Choosing projects strategically is just easier for me.

I hold the same opinion. All my investments are made for the long term. This method suits me, because this way I get nervous much less.

It depends on how willingbyou are to wait for the fruits of your labor. If you want outright results then yoy have to go for short term. If you want it big time you can go long terms. Its just a matter of how you work for it. Well the end results will tell you how good long and short terms. Solely depends on you on what you needed most as of the moment.

It depends on your coins and tokens that you're holding. In my understanding, Million coin supply are pumping high in just a minimum of time and Billion coin supply are barely pumping and it will take half a year or over you'll feel that they're pumping like Tron, Stellar, DogeCoin and other Billion coin supply. In my experience, I'm holding Million coin supply Crypto Assets so they're giving me profits than my other Crypto Assets. Most of all, it depends on your skills. If you're skilled enough doing day trading that which is more risky but wil offer you high return than just holding.

I can't really say that my Crypto Assets are for short-term or long-term because it depends on the market. But since I have a full-time job then i'm holding it until now because I don't need money as of Now. Some of my tokens aren't really pumping that's why I'm going to set them as long term because the prices are still lower today but some of my tokens are pumping and I could turn them into money soon but not now.

You are right, I can even add that my investment strategy is changing with time. Before, 100% of my investments were long-term, now only about 90% of long-term and 10% short-term investments.

Personaly i realy recomend a long term if you have some alternative source of income like work or some business but if you are only depending in your investments in crypto then maybe you have to do it in short term is a good choice too. Still it depend in you and your life style.

Long term is the right choice because this method is more profitable than short term. It has been proven that many coins have increased in the next few weeks or months. But it depends how accurately you monitor the value of your portfolio.

I look all the time. Even long term investments could gain more value if you sell on top and rebuy a little lower. Not easy to say when to sell / buy. But after huge gain be ready to sell and rebuy.
Yeah I definately agree man

for the long term then invest only in coins that cost is high, so then the profit obtained will be much greater. However, if the short term investment then invested in coins that cost is small because it changes very quickly.

this is based on what I did short term = day trading : can earn small amount in a matter of 10 buy and selling 6 of it had me failed and my earnings loose a little bit or sometimes even more, also time consuming
long term = holding for a month I think : can earn big if you got a good valueble have potenatial coin. much smaller risk of failure. time consuming if you will think but if you will not be paranoid it will not.
after I do this I think long term is best. I am now holding ripple and stoped day trading because ripple are so hyped and I know ripple have future. do your own research of course of those coins you want to hold or invest happy earning

I think any kind of long-term or short-term investment has different benefits and disadvantages. If you choose long-term investment, you do not need to do anything, fixed capital, accumulated profits after time. On the other hand, short term investment gives you flexible capital, you can use it for many purposes, profit immediately. I quite like it. So, I always choose short term investment
