How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
for the short term I did not make a portfolio but I used some of the information I got then made the analysis and bought the coins, after that sold when the price had gone up from what I was targeting, maybe for the long term I just bought a coin which I think has a fairly slow movement and some big coins like ripple and stellar.

In managing my portfolio, I will start selling less popular and unlikely coins, then I switch to coins that have good potential in the future. The risk I have in my assets is about 50% to 30% of short-term and long-term profits.
everyone has their own strategy. I prefer safely rather than risk, so I prefer long-term investments rather than short-term, I just buy potential coins like Ethereum, Waves, and Ripple. probably almost over 80% of my assets I use for the long term and some others I use for short term like trading

the risks for the long term and the short term vary widely. because they have different levels of needs. if we talk to the world of Cryptocurrency then there is more risk in the long run. because seen from the time period passed.

In Crypto currency there is no guarantee you will gain on long term or short term. Just play your coin carefully to gain if you invested.
Though there are coins/token worth to hold but majority is really unpredictable.

It really depends on the person. For me, I don't have enough patience to buy and sell every hour and to sit checking out news all the time. Long-term. Definitely

Majority of the people will choose to invest in long term as they prefer to make it as an investment than just doing it for short term
trading or what day traders are doing. In short term, you need knowledge but not a lot unlike what is required to succeed as a day trader.

In cryptocurrency there is no excuses to not to earn instant or passive income. There are lots of various ways on how to earn income and it will be your choice what you will pick.
I think the long-term investment is more advantage to choose because it will provide a higher income than short-term investment.

I do not see any reason to engage in short-term trading. I know that this can bring a regular income, but for the income to be significant it is necessary to trade a large amount of cash. It seems safer for me to invest for a long time and do not waste time on constant monitoring of the market.

Both has advantages and disadvantages. As long as we want to be smart in Crypto or bitcoin, we will get good income from it.  To me, holding btc and eth is better for a long term because both coins are the best in Crypto. Other altcoins are better to short term, because they price is not stable or even no value.

Long term vs. Short term those are who invest for short term gains and others who invest for the long term. In fact, both strategies have benefits and drawbacks. In the UK the tax consequences are the same, in the United States each strategy has different tax implications.

Short Term Investing, refers to holding any particular investment for less than one year. There are many investors takes this.
Buying Low and Selling High is the one example of this investment. It is correlated to this topic. This is why we do what we do and it is accomplished simply by buying low and selling high.

One simple example of long term investment is that, what we did while we are waiting to increase the price of coins that we are holding. Holding is the tern that exists when we are investing for a long term.

In order to do this you need to track the market movements on long time intervals. Then it is possible to draw conclusions about long-term investments, while many people still see only speculative component.

It depends on many facts: what type of coin do you have, what are your goals on market and so on.
If you have BTC and if I were you I'd better hodl.
If it's not perspective altcoin - better to sell it when it's have highest rates.

If you have a lot of money, I think it's wise to hold and trade at the same time, I mean day trading is profitable as well
but it really requires time in order to get the success you are expecting, you are the one who knows yourself so better take the opportunity if you can.

I handle my portfolio based on the time period I have set, I have a special note to set the course of long-term and short-term investments. As long as I do so, I only benefit from short-term investments, because my current long-term investments have not reached the targets I set.
