How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short-term gain vs? Long-term gain?
Short-term and long-term gains are of course very different. Maybe if you use a short-term strategy, you can benefit only a little. But if you can hold your coins for the long term, surely the benefits will be many times the capital you spend. And I personally use a long-term strategy.

It really dwpends on what your goal and your needs. If you are planning to just buy and forget about it then check on it after few years then you should go for long term. On the other hand you if want to have fast profit then short term is for you. The only downside about short term is you don't earn huge profit compare to long term, while doing long term you will have to wait for a while to earn huge profit. It is just a matter of preference.

I prefer long-term, I know that in the long run, it will be a huge boost to my portfolio. My coins are also good for long term, I just need to hold my coins for about a year or two and see what happens on the future. I sometimes do short term only if I need money, but I don’t do day trading. So I think that long term is the best possible way to earn big.

In it is better to choose long term because it will gain more than the short term.my opinion Both had advantages and disadvantages.Long term survival coins are best coins which can be grows in the market in the same time. Please choose the bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin  crypto currencies which can grows and survive for the long time.

If you're talking about the trading, as for me I do short term trading only, less profit but its a sure win beacuse you don't need to gamble for  big capital, only small will do and its also profitable.

Long terms and short terms will certainly generate different profits and from both I will choose short terms because we can quickly turn our capital.

Long term is good to do because you're coin is possible to grow your coin more and have a lot of profit ftom it. While short term is good when you really need money but the difference between long term is you coin is no longer to grow. For me i must prefer long term because i want to grow more my coin.

according to my portfolio. for short-term and long-term risks of about 5% to 15%. usually, the greatest risk is in the long run. because waiting for things that are still in the estimation is very likely obtained.

Long term and short term are both profitable but for me there are coins that are best in long term investments like bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and neo. Usually i consider top cryptocurrency at the best for long term and to those coins that are not so valuable in terms price value is very suitable in short-term investments.

In order to do this you need to track the market movements on long time intervals. Then it is possible to draw conclusions about long-term investments, while many people still see only speculative component.

I only have a small capital that is why I prefer to do the short term investment, less hassle and I dont need to worry about the risk.

I prefer long-term investments, as it is safer, though less profitable. Especially in recent days, observing the situation in the market, I understand that I lose a lot, because I do not trade on the stock exchange.

I prefer to use longtherm because it is not confusing, but for beginners in trading like me, if you invest longthrem you should know about the projecting roadmap, because if the coin has no bright future or no clear roadmap, it becomes a bad condition and wasting a lot of our time

Right now I prefer long term as it is too time consuming observing the market and making lots of TAs that sometimes cannot even work out especially in times like this. Long term trading is also less stressful as long as you picked coins that are promising.

short term investment risk is greater, that is 60%. because bitcoin prices change in the near future and to be able to rise to the moon takes a little longer. so long-term investment is less risk, that is 40%.

Long term - Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are perfect assets.
Short term - altcoins like Ripple, Cardano and IOTA that are good for trading and buying something.

I absolutely agree with you! But current situation make me disappointed in my “short term coins”. I am ready to wait for changing price of “long term coins”. But small oynes now bring losses.

Lose is normally comes to our investment and its normal.
We need to reduce the lose but we can not do investment without losing.
However, from losing we can learn more experience.

Long time means holding coins, in my opinion it`s very important to be patient and so this is a good way to do so. However, no one knows how coins will develop the next morths, I would spread therefore some money in altcoins (shorter term) and some money in btc
I chose long-term because most people prefer long-term and long-term coins that stay with the long-term like BTC and ETH
because with ETH we can transact quickly if investing in the short term we get quicker but riskier

for now because the price is not stable and still cheap, I prefer long-term benefits. because I prefer to hold the coins rather than directly sell them. I just think if I hold a coin, it is my savings. but I've also tried short-term but even the losses I got. if the coin is still cheap like now, buy as much and save it, maybe next year the price goes up and you will get many benefits.

Altcoin within half a year then you should invest for short term otherwise long term investments is a good idea of you don't really know the coin is all about. I don't risk my amounts for short trades, I was doing that before and in the end I always end up shorter, and my profit melted so many times and in the end I lose more then I won. That is why I chose to do just longterm trades like

Short term investing generally refers to holding any particular investment for less than one year. While Long term investors on the other hand will often hold an investment for five, ten or even twenty to thirty years at a time. If it only it was that simple! Investors who trade on shorter time-lines aim to buy Bitcoin when the market is low or if  Bitcoin has been beat up and represents a good value. They then try to sell the investment in a few days, weeks or months when it has recovered

I know someday its going to be worth it. Im also holding some coins temporarily for profits but most of the time these coins are only for short term. The best coins for long term hold are ethereum and Bitcoin. I play both long term and short term. Short term portfolio refers to me as monthly trade, I choose as coin of the month and close my trade at the end of the month
