For long term choose altcoins that are proven already in this crypto world. The cycle of coins in the market and it's investors. Long term like btc and eth is already reliable to invest. For short term choose altcoins that can pump up soon.

It's hard to say, sometimes you are planning for a short term investment but the market decides otherwise by going bearish. You then have to wait until the market is bullish again and it could turn into a long term investment.

Both are profitable, but If you are smart to analyze the long-term is the right choice because it will give many advantages. so I think long term is the best choice for big profits

For long term Investments, Bitcoin is the best it will come back soon so I suggest we should start investing on it.
for short term, those start up promising altcoins.

both is actually good and we must utilize them verry well in order to do a correct cycle or flow for our investments. We should sometimes sell whenever we need the cash or if theres an oppurtunity like for example the price of the coin is pumping hard , then if thats the case we should our coins imediately but if theres no good chances in the market , then much better if we can just continue hodling. |

nothing different on my folio.my long term is bitcoin,ethereum and bitcoin cash.while my short term is depends on what altcoins i found profitable.i dont rely on top coins besides i choose altcoins that has good potential that i can trae for 3 days up to a month as long as i get my target income |

I think short time investment and long time investment will depend on the type of coin.which are stable coin such as bitcoin,eth,these could be done long time investment.I also think which are unstable coin these will suitable for short time investment and it could be profitable. so short time and long time investment depend on the circumstance of coin.

I prefer long-term investments, as it is safer, though less profitable. Especially in recent days, observing the situation in the market, I understand that I lose a lot, because I do not trade on the stock exchange.
Short term or Long term investment is not important. The most important, you have to knowledge and skill to able to be chose a good coin. Now, there are many ICOs rise everyday and 90% of all are scam project which make you loss your money if investing so I don't think Long term investment is safer than short term investment. |

I'll go for short term investment because in short term investment, my profit may bring back in short period of time.
By this, I will have the assurance that I already get some return to it. I'll be confidently puting my investment in that said investment.

If you are looking at making some regular trades on altcoins, say once a fortnight or so, I would suggest holding an additional amount in ETH to send to exchanges for trading with. I have taken my principle investment out so I have no skin in the game other than the profits in my portfolio but I do with I could have some spare ETH for shorter trades. |

Most of my portfolio is a long-term gain, it's 80%. 20% Short term - waves, strat, neo ,stellar , ada. |

I think that long term investments are better, I prefer to buy altcoins from the top-10 or top-20 of the marcetcap, for example Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Dash, NEM. If they are droping, i buy more.

I don't agree with you. What is the difference for long term investments? I think the most important is the price you bought and the price you are going to sell. Everything in the middle doesn't matter. |

Long term goals beats short term any day anytime.
Short time investment or trading can make you a few good bucks. But it can also loose you those bucks and more.
Long term goals takes more resolve patience and vigilance but when you get your process and research right, you'll be in a world of profit.
