Long term vs. Short term

I can not say that I have a portfolio of investments. I have two crypto-currencies now. This bitcoin and ether. This is all that is at the moment. I'm trying to make money on the daily trading on a btc/eth pair.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

I always has been a backer of long-term investments. But in future maybe I will start to trade. Nowadays it is difficult to practice something like short-term trading. Moreover it is almost impossible to predict if the price will fall or rise tomorrow.

I think that short term is much more profitable but the problem is that it is more than risky.. and if you do not like the risk, you can easily lose a lot of money because of that.

Short-term investments seem less risky to me, for many reasons, but there are also disadvantages, because long-term ones seem to me more attractive in terms of dividends, it's a passive income, but the risks of losing more and more.

Both long-term and short-term goals are good idea for future investments. Short term is suitable for experienced traders, and those who can successfully predict the change of the crypto .Long-term are for the good coins that you're holding that has a very low price this time. Both have advantage and disadvantage.

i have several failed short-term investments . the encryption market changes too quickly . the best strategy is to predict the long-term trend of a coin . long-term investment is the right way .

i preffer long term because of my work. i have to work in day time so i dont have enough time to follow every coin every day. that is why  prefer to invest for long term projects and wat for a good bullish trend in the market.

I think you have chosen a very difficult way to earn money. Both these coins are the basis of the market so they have the least volatility. I think if you trade this pair, then the income will be miserable.

For long-term investment and short-term investment, I get fifty-fifty all for the risks and the profits.
The coins that I prefer for long-term investment is BTC, ETH, and coins from ready-product ICO.
The short-term investment that I prefer are some top 30 altcoins.

perhaps top 100 altcoins are better than 30. They can give your more profit than those in top 30 and they are still safe enough to invest. However, there are still risk in short term investment. If you do not need money immediately, just invest your money in those long term coins. They are better than short term investment

My investment portfolio almost always lies in the long term, because the market is not in the best situation now, so it is better to hold it in order not to lose a lot of interest. But it is possible and to bargain is not bad, if there is knowledge. This is enough for today, my advice is long and short-term trading.

In my opinion, both have advantages and disadvantages. But it is better to choose long-term investment because it can get more value if you sell above and buy back a little lower. Many are taking the risk of choosing long term because they know that it can benefit them bigger.

According to this, my choice now is long term. But Before I invest I have to do some research first so that I can distinguish the long term or short term hold. So until now I still learn some adequate technical analysis I have switched to only long-term a group of Altcoin promises.

in my experience, if you make a fortune in crypto investment, invest in the long run, because for a long time the price of crypto will experience a high price increase

What coin is Liteon? That looks like Litecoin just like some kind of scam coin.
I would pick the same but replace Liteon with Litecoin.

I own over this apply both types of trading. Good trading short term or long term trading. Depending on which coins could be in daily trading and which for long term trading. For percentage losses might be greater if doing short-term trading.

Long term is the one that you will hold on years or so but you can get profit by doing nothingg and just checking for it but in the short term you need to check it everytime and it can also called daily trading for short term so you can gain a lot of profits

There are some people who are making more money in the short term market, others in long term hodl. I guess it all boils down to risk appetite, how much ups and downs are you willing to tolerate until you reach your goal. Also, how much pain can you handle before letting go a certain position.
