Long term vs. Short term

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

For me, When referring on today's market situation I must prefer for long term investment because with this strategy we don't need to check the market price daily which made investors to get stress most especially when the market is falling.

My portfolio is mostly for long term. When i started i did short term but that did not really work out well for me. So i decided to do it long term because it will increase more than 3x than you are expecting. And for short term, the fees will eat up your gains because the increase is just minimal in just few hours or days and most of the time it stays for long in the dump.

Bitcoin and ethereum are preferable for long term investment because of thier solid and stable price compare to other coins. 
Short term trading on the other hand is working better for altcoins such as ripple and IOTA.

According to this, my choice now is long term. But Before I invest I have to do some research first so that I can distinguish the long term or short term hold. So until now I still learn some adequate technical analysis I have switched to only long-term a group of Altcoin promises.

What I usually do is to 80% of my investments will go for long-term gain and the 20% will go short-term investment. This is my current setup because I am not comfortable doing day trading due to its high risk in the market.

I prefer long term.If you are investing in any coin of crypto so will have to wait for long term then you can get a much profit from crypto in future. But the short term investment is not a good choice in crypto.

Indeed for the long term it is always more profitable than the short term. If you have done some research before investing. But for the short term it can be profitable but not always. I think the short term is just for whales and for beginners I recommend to stick with long term investment.
