I use about about 20-25% of a portfolio for trade. Remaining coins lie in the long term. And in process of growth of a purse of  % of the holded coins increases.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
At the moment, the market is only falling, so now you need to think exactly about the long-term prospect and the coins that can bring you benefits in the future, for the time being they are very cheap so you can pick something up for yourself.

Investing for a long time I choose only proven coins as ETH, because over time I hope that it will bring me a profit of at least x10-15

You are able to attempt both of them to different coins, each coin has different style of trade, hold the coins for a long term investment and buy a short term coins to earn daily profit.

I personally use a long-term strategy to hold all the coins I have. I know if the long-term strategy is so boring and must make us wait very long. But believe me that long-term can be much more profitable than short term. It's just that you just need to be patient waiting for all the coin prices you have to ride very high.

I think that to begin with it is necessary to determine which type of investors should be attributed to. If you are planning a short-term investment, then you are more attracted to trade. and this means that you have to analyze and monitor around the clock for the schedule, nervous because of the recession of crypto-currencies. and if you prefer a long-term investment, it means that you will keep your coins for at least 3 years. considering that the course is changing, you should not pay attention to the correction of the market. hence, your nerve cells will be alright Smiley

I think long term and short term investment are both same.
Longterm invest took a month or a year to gey good profit. But lesser risk. While shorterm almost everyday you earn profit but too risky

Ethereum is very good for the long term investment but we should never incest on only one cryoto in the long term so split.your investment into different coins then you will have less risk.

In % it is difficult to say.Approximately 80/20.I could be wrong.80-short-term investments 20-long-term.Long-term for me it is somewhere 1-2 years.I know people for whom long-term investment is at least 5-7 years.I can't wait that long.

I like the long term holding because they will cost me less time to do the trading and I also can make a lot of money in it. I think the trading of short tie take too much time.

I agree with other members who consider that BTC and ETH are good for long term and Waves, Ripple, Neo, EOS are for short term.

the market is now at a steep peak. prices are falling and Yong has reached the bottom. therefore, daily trading will not bring profit. but to buy long positions is very profitable, given that it is unknown when the recovery will be

Long term investments are better if you are planning to support project. You can divide your portfolio on tro parts: one for long term investments, another - for short term and speculations. Sometimes it's easier to trade and make money in one day, than invest and wait results during 6-12 monthes.

I believe long term holders will benefit more from cryptocurrency market.
There are rare people good at short term trading.
People are inclined to act irrationally, especially when the market is down.

I did not hold as many coins as of now but I had my sight on hding ethereum. The problem was it did sink down to the bottom that I am losing money. Yet I still believe this bearish market will rise again so I am holding it for long term. For now I think that is the most appropriate thing to do. Im just holding on.
