I do not think that the currency Ripple has enough power to outshine the BTC. But as an alternative currency, it will be very much in demand.

Not directly by ripple ; The XRP Ledger gives addresses the ability to freeze non-XRP balances, which can be useful to meet regulatory requirements, or while investigating suspicious activity. There are three settings related to freezes: Individual Freeze - Freeze one counterparty. Global Freeze - Freeze all counterparties. No Freeze - Permanently give up the ability to freeze individual counterparties, as well as the ability to end a global freeze. |

Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?
I do not think ripple became the currency of the future as what many investors expected. It is more possible that bitcoin became the currency of the future. Bitcoin is the father of all cryptos and other altcoins are basically patterned from bitcoin. Besides, I do not think that the ripple reach the price of bitcoin. The bitcoin is still the most popular crypo currency in the market and even in the future. |

I see it like this, Ripple is de dictator, faster in making decisions and implementing the moves but will eventually fall because of centralization Bitcoin or many other altcoins are more a democracy, slow and have ups and downs but at the end will win because of decentralized nature. |

Ripple will not live long, it's a banker's coin, not a crypto-currency community. You can already see how the outflow of funds from this coin in the ETH is occurring. And this will puddle constantly continue until Ripple is completely buried.

The gloom and doom sentiment is quite palpable. It always is during corrections. However, in the grander schem of things, the below chart shows how the current correction can fit. If the prior rise was wave 1 rise, then the current correction is a wave 2 decline. Which wave come after wave 2? Wave 3 and it sure won't be lower than wave 1! The next impulse will take Ripple (XRP) to $15.44 or higher!!

Centralization is the main thing which distinguish ripple from another cryptocurrencies. As banks usually want to use currencies which is under someones control and which is more predictable than decentralized ones, ripple will definitely become more popular among them. If more banks start using ripple, the more demand for ripple will be on the market, the higher the price of the ripple we'll see on exchanges. But becoming the global currency for the banks doesn't mean becoming the global currency for everyone. The main key of cryptocurrencies is decentralization so the community will probably choose another crypto or cryptos instead of ripple as a real global currency and will leave ripple for banks.

i don't like ripple, ripple is centralised and just a leech who want to get power from every bank and man who has a power who want to control cryptocurrency if your question ripple is the future ? my answer is maybe yes because their target is bank from any countries |

Ripple is looking minger to me. Because They aren't decentralized. They are centralized by banks. I know that Global Financing Crisis is maden by this banks and still we are suffering from them.

Maybe it won't be the cryptocurrency of the future but maybe it even doesn't have to be. I heard that in the future, you'll make some payments but you won't even realize that you make them with kind of cryptocurrency. So, I think of XRP as a "backend cryptocurrency." You might not see it and might not use it directly but perhaps, it will be tightly woven into our lives.
Ok, maybe the are not decentralized but it's something that banks want. I'm not sure if big men will just easliy allow us to take of their money and businesses.

ripple or xrp is a centralized coin. its different from other cryptocurrencies. yes it grow 36000% and might grow even more. but at the same time a person should be caution investing dont buy indiscriminatly. also xrp is not as active in other areas as bitcoin. a big part of the criptoworld dont even accept ripple as a coin

It may be very good for day trader to make some money, but majority isn't a day trader and want investments for long term as normaly if you buy a good coin that have some real underlying value it will eventually make you a profit in long run no matter how many times there is a pymp or dump. Look at coins like bitcoin, Ethereum, siacoin, monero and I am sure some other.... They are all coind accepted by cryptocurrency community as a valuable asset that have a purpose. That's makes them good long term investment. Ripple future is much more risky for long term but good for day trading. Its al about risk management and ling term ripple has much more risk than any other coin that I just mentioned.
