People are not realizing the hidden potential of this fork. At least this fork can give tough competition to other privacy based coins which are also Bitcoin's clone. It isn't direct competitor to Bitcoin but all other privacy and anonymous coins market shares will be on stake after this comes into existence.

How can they compete ?
Have you read white paper about futures of BTCP ? The future is cloning ZCash again...there is no innovation or self development.

ZCL is already down quite a bit. I am curious whether there will be another run up right before the fork but that is really like playing with fire if you buy into it.

yes for that you will get 0.1 bitcoin private but for that 0.1 BTC if you buy ZCL then right now you will get around 7 ZCL for which at the time of fork you will get around 7 bitcoin private. and the value of ZCL will also be much higher than the current time. It is my opinion and I am going on that why. But you can decide for yourself that what is better for you. Invest in anything after your complete research.

Imagine I'm an investor with $10k and want free BTCP.

I can buy around 55 ZCL actually, and that will give me 55 bitcoin private. Even if BTCP is around $200 (it will be much more, but it's the minimum it can be) that is a $11k gift.

If you leave your ZCL you'll have a drop, but you'll earn money in any case, it sounds to good to be true for me, can someone explain me if I missed something?

at this moment zcl is really btcp futures, immediately after the snapshot zcl's value will drop to around 2 or 3 $'s then we have to wait a couple of days to collect our btcp which will hopefully be trading at $200 and up

As long as the devs manage to pull of they're end and assuming btc is stable then i see it as a no lose situation, like finding free money down the back of the settee, i think btcp will trade at a minimum $300

there are also people who don't want to participate in fork, but they just wanted speculate on price... so this is a normal profit taking. Zcl price will raise again before hardfork..

How could this be a scam? You don't have to invest anything at first, they are giving you 1:1 BTCP based on the ZCL and BTC amount you hold! Plus, combining two blockchains as a double fork is really an inovation that has't been made before, so, in my opinion, it worths the attention!

My opinion is ZCL isnt scam coin. I dont kno why ppl selling ZCL for this low price. BTCP will have better performance then BTC and I think it will be over 200 usd when it hit exchange. PPL HODL!

Yes, BTCP looks quite interesting.
Just not too many info on supported exchanges...
