For lack of interest, I had never participated in snapshots before! What will happen after the first block of the snapshot at 5 p.m? Can I sell my ZCL, or should I wait 2 days until the mainnet launch? I believe I can sell, since the capture at that time, showed that it was a ZCL hodler! Am I right?

yes you can sell them straight after the snapshot as you say, just having them  in the wallet when the snapshot occurs is proof enough, the people in the know will be the 1st to dump zcl you will be lucky if theres any decent offers left by the time u try to sell though

You don't know that for sure.

Why would you want to sell anyway? isn't ZClassicone of the best coins anyway? There is still mining and difficulty adjustments that will not account for the price. If price falls then supply may become very scarce to make up for the difference and it could hold its value or even go up. BTC and LTC did not lose value as a result of their largest forks.

Please see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827163.msg31273044#msg31273044 "Tool to claim coins for all Bitcoin forks without using wallets or running nodes"

Updated for BTCP according to their latest released code, this works from a BTC or ZCL explorer

Can you really be that ignorant? It is not the ZCL wallet that cannot handle the pressure. It's the exchanges wallet and their infrastructure behind that (databases and backend i.e.). Exchange wallets confirm withdraws and deposits differently than normal wallet to wallet transfer.. This issue has nothing to do with the coin infrastructure or private wallet.

Yeah, they have few hundred coins with more volume who are working without problem
Conspiracy against Zclassic ahah you are right

You really are one ignorant human being. Please go and educate yourself before posting.
If you cannot understand what you read, well that is your problem. ZCL is not the first and not the last coin that will have EXCHANGE end issues. This is similar scenario to what happened with LTC and Doge markets in Cryptopia. I'll just leave it here, tired of people who cannot use their brains.

Everything you need to know about these technical issues can be found here:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News
https://www.coinbureau.com/news/bitcoin-private-fork-facing-zclassic-withdrawal-issues-exchanges/

You are funny.
So much arrogance for someone who knows nothing.
Cryptopia was a problem with node syncing, the same problem we got early january with eleos and the swing wallet.
But yeah, tell me about infrastructure.

I was part of the btcp team and they made a conference call (Creigton and Jake) with bittrex last night to fix issues, that's why bittrex accept to give btcp to zcl holders.

So we can consider it as official statement that Bittrex will support this fork and make credit the users account there. Still few hours left for this event now I will make deposit on my account to get advantage of early trade there.

Actually, Bittrex said that they will credit ZCL user's wallet with BTCP due the issues they have with ZCL wallets! They won't be supporting the market for BTCP and also BTC accounts from Bittrex won't be credited with BTCP ! Here's the news https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001271272 !

How does the block hash relate to the block number? Just want to make sure at what block the snapshot was.

All blockexplorer are down  Angry

Everything is down right now, for how long remains mysterious... good practices for "A Truly Private Bitcoin"... no testnet, nothing, just everything down, really dubious again...

You can use the tool above when something (ie mainnet) comes up, test (to their seed node which is commented in the code, and could change):

Again one goof more to spread FUD. There is testnet and mainnet will be launched at 2.3.2018. There are also many pools with testnet implementation and have shown support for the BTCP mainnet. And everything is not really down, I am currently mining ZCL and my daemon is showing block height 272998.

Block height | 272998
Network solution rate | 129792893 Sol/s
Connections | 47

Since starting this node 1 days, 0 hours, 54 minutes, 59 seconds ago:
- You have validated 100782 transactions!

Did you just fabricate something out of thin air like an ERC20 token?

Are you part of the team?

Whether it is yes or no, could you please provide some full nodes addresses?

Since your are mining (mining what exactly?) you must run/access full nodes unless you are saying bulls, since it's not coherent with your statement of mainnet being launched on 2nd of March

Most likely you will not answer

No, it is "just" a tool to transact your coins without needing dubious wallets and/or running full nodes, managing things by yourself

See the direct link https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions , it's not coming from nowhere, neither a scam but intended to allow people to deal with this kind of stupid situation that seems to become common practices (disappointing from ZCL/BTCP team)

Let's see, @Haze said he was mining, so he can access mainnet, then the tool can/could be used from now

There it reads I AM MINING ZCL. Maybe you should wipe the jizz off your glasses mate.
I have also tested suprnova BTCP testnet and it's working fine. I was referring to "everything is down" comment, as everything is not down (ZCL and BTC both working normally).
BTCP mainnet will be up at 2nd of march and before that no one can mine BTCP.

Suprnova BTCP testnet working just fine.

As the snapshot has now occurred, does that mean I can now move my BTC from the address that was holding the BTC during the snapshot (with bitcoin core full node, while cold storing the priv key from said address to import to BTCP when necessary) Or, do I have to wait the dev stated “couple of days” before moving my BTC from the snapshot address?

Also, any clues as to when mining starts, I see suprnova are running a testnet pool which is a good sign, will be pointing my rig there so a more specific mining start time would be useful.

You can keep modifying your answer as you like every 2mn...

Again: are you part of the team?

What you are showing is just that you are mining on a supposed testnet on suprnova, I have not a lot of time to play with this stuff but I tried to connect to testnet (following the BTCP links, all of them sending you to another one, and finally tried what is in the code for testnet), unsuccessfully for now... including connecting to supposed suprnova testnet full node

Could you please provide a working testnet address:port?

Anyway, if I am wrong about testnet, then OK, but what looks to be happening right now is still not a good an fair way to do a fork for a project that claims transparency

[update]

btcp.suprnova.cc:17933 seems to be working

If he said that, I'm guessing he meant a couple of days until you can redeem your BTCP using your keys. The whole point of a snapshot is to see how many coins are in each address at a point in time, so I don't know why you wouldn't be able to move your BTC now.

Because you can't do anything before they open mainnet, you can prepare your transactions but there is just no place where to send them

So until people get access to the mainnet full nodes, nothing can be done

That's what I am criticizing above, testnet should just be followed by mainnet, but since they are merging the utxo of both different chains, probably they need some time to do it, apparently they did not make it clear (as well as their still missing white paper on their web site) since nobody understands what is going on

Finally holders of ZCL has been slaughters due to fake hype and comparison it with BTC. I don't like the current distribution structure of this airdrop coin it has been failed before it's launch. So many people lost their money because of this nonsense distribution system.
