OMG! Recently supernova testnet pool had a massive 6 500 Mh/s!  Shocked
I'm starting to thing that this numbers are kind of random. Or how/why else there could be in the TESTNET 10x power of all other equihash coins combined?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

This coin is a pure scam and an idea is simply stolen from BTCZ. How many of you already lost money on this ZCL pump Grin
It's better to wait, you can not call this scam coin because you lost money by joining the ZClassic hype, everyone knew that buying ZCL over $10 was something insane and out of standards, it takes its toll and when you get your BTCP everything will turn out good! BTCZ is inflationary, so they will never fight against centralization.
This one is different one, real crypto, Altcoins. And it based on privacy point for it's users to protect them.
Real crypto is when someone actually develops it.
Bitcoin was domething entirely new.
ZEC was also something novel with protection algorythms.

BTCP is just taking the existing source code and pasting in, like doing homework for informatics class lol. Obviously there's no future, best we can hope for is pump and dump, but no guarantee even for that.

So many people are losing a lot in zclassic to get BTCP. Basically the fork coin means try to make another copycat coin with some improvements. I meant about a little change from the original code.
All of the forks coin will be the same. There's no future. It just like a big trap to lure everyone to buy that as much as they can to get more airdrop coin with no future.

Another ignorant naysayer. BTCP provides BTC holders ability to hide their transactions. Of course this is the same privacy feature as you have with Z coins. Every person holding BTC was able to get the same ability for free with BTCP fork. Now you don't have to think about buying BTCP as BTC holder, but instead you were awarded this for free. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. No premine, no founders free and truly decentralized coin.

We will see for BTCP but that's obviously true in general (and you should stop calling everybody ignorant I think)

Lucky-Mining

Pool URL : https://lucky-mining.com.ua

Official Thread

- The servers is located in Ukraine.
Low pings for Ukraine (1-7 ms) and CIS countries
- Automatic Payout Threshold (min. 0.01)
- Detailed statistics
- Payout system : PPLNS
- Pools Fee : 0 %

- At the moment the pool has been trained, configured and tested on the network "testnet" and showed better statistics in comparison with other pools.
1. All settings of the "testnet" pool will be transferred to the "mainnet" pool, except for the wallet address.
2. The miners who will register in advance and create the workers will have an advantage, they will immediately begin to mine in pool using the old settings.
3. In turn, the new miners will need to enter the wallet "BTCP" in the account settings for the possibility of creating workers.

List of unused wallets of the network "testnet" coins "Bitcoin Private", here.

We are waiting for you : Discord | Twitter | Telegram.

If people post their thoughts without any base for the forthcoming, what should I call them then? I always study things before I start speaking out loud. In my opinion this is what separates smart person from ignorant person.

I think last thing new projects need is people posting FUD without real base for the claim. As I've said before, not even one of us can see the future. Before we are in the future it is useless to talk about how BTCP is a scam or shitcoin. In few months you can tell this, if it really is that. If you don't believe in BTCP, don't buy it and shut up. No one was forced to buy BTC or ZCL and won't be forced to buy BTCP.

Some parts in your blog post is total bs and true at the same time.
The madness of bitcoin forks: risk, reward and ruin https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/madness-bitcoin-forks-risk-reward-ruin-aymeric-vitte/

"Conclusion: stay away from those forks, if you can't refrain then use something like my tool to transact your coins"

Solution: Transfer your coins from snapshot wallet to new wallet, before exposing wallet private key to claim your new coins. It takes you 10s to create new wallet and 5s more to complete the transfer from old to new wallet. No need for your tool to be honest. But I agree with you, always be careful with forks and with private keys generally. Never trust another person just because they seem to be nice.

Hello,

I just want to inform that testnet is available on https://btcp.multipools.club
you can use the pool to test your config and make sure everything is ok. But it will be working on testnet until launch.

When mainnet is launched we will make the switch on the backend and everything will start automatically for you.

If you have any questions, feel free to join our telegram for live support: https://t.me/joinchat/GP6HXwxiGzDKiBucyWvbWQ

See you there.

had some questions regarding port changing etc. on suprnova..

you can leave all your workers like they are, settings will all stay the same and nothing will change - the pool will simply be switched to mainnet once wallets are released

I hope that "bs" does not stand for bullshit here (please clarify), as you have maybe not perceived the first article is a parody with some intentional biaised technical info, of course I am not going to give the perfect forking guide

So you agree, not agree, not clear, of course people should move their coins before claiming others (even if there are zero technical reasons to do so), now in case you have not noticed the situation can become much more malicious in case of cascading forks with some of them "forgetting" to implement a replay protection with all the other ones, then people should make sure that their coins are always "above" all the forks height, which is not easy, if not their coins could be moved without them even knowing it

The tool is for those that want to understand/master what they are doing and don't want to take the risk to use dubious wallets, or those that want to move coins not implemented in any wallet without having to sync a full node, or those that want to move coins stuck in multisig or segwit addresses, or those that just will never trust wallets (like myself)

Yeah. I see already. It's likely that SuperNova just confused Mh with Kh. It now reads something like "Pool Hash: 1,067.99 MH/s" which NORMALLY *should* read as 1 000 Mh, but in reality likely is just 1 Mh.

We are preparing to launch the mainnet. Until that, you can import your $ZCL / $BTC wallet into our official $BTCP official wallet right here : https://bitcoinprivate-wallet.com

This is a scam. Official links below.

Official BTCP page: https://btcprivate.org/
https://support.btcprivate.org/358345-Bitcoin-Private-Electrum-Wallet---How-to-install-the-Wallet
"Note: At the time of publishing, the Bitcoin Private Wallet has not yet been released. These instructions are for future use."

Official BTCP GitHub: https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BitcoinPrivate
Official BTCP twitter: https://twitter.com/bitcoinprivate

There will be official confirmation from BTCP dev team after wallet has been launched. Keep cool and wait for fork and mainnet launch. Before this you cannot get your BTCP and there won't be official wallet.

One thing that is fucked up with Zcash is the 20% founder's reward.

Hopefully BTCP will replace Zcash too, and not just ZCL.

Why is it taking so long to start trading? LCC appeared on Yobit immediately after the fork and other exchanges in 12 hours. When does the coin go on an exchange?

No you are mining on testnet. Whatever you mine on testnet, in any pool, will worth nothing.

I have tested with one of my GPUs for less than 20 min. I earn on suprnova testnet a virtual value of 0.05 BTCP.
