I'm seeing huge cpu & memory usage on my windows 64bit system with both the daemon & QT with the latest version - 20%+ cpu & well over 1.2gb mem usage. The QT is almost completely unresponsive sometimes, showing the dreaded "not responding" message most of the time. My linux systems don't suffer from this - any ideas?

If your Linux is good, then I'm thinking it's hit & miss as to what systems it eats up. On both Debian 8.7 & Debian 9 I've got it using 1.9GB mem and as much as 50% CPU usage while running (not initiating).

That's an older version - latest is v0.11.3.1 https://github.com/zetacoin/zetacoin/releases.. but performance is terrible. @dev/OP - is this a mandatory update or can we safely go back to v0.11.2.3? Thanks. (click to enlarge)

Loaded new one and it runs exactly the same as old version. CPU at normal fluctuations.
No idea what's going on with your machine.

There were no changes that should affect performance. The only effective change is that version 2 blocks will be rejected once 95% blocks are on version 4. Blocks are on version 3, so this code is not effective yet. The next release will increase the block version to 4.

Then how is it that the log reflects: 26 of last 100 blocks above version 3

Yeah, it uses as much as CureCoin, PeerUnity, MazaCoin, and eMark combined.

Edit: The windows zip files are missing the daemon & cli - are there any available? Edit2: Same issue with 32bit version. I'm struggling here - I have 20+ other wallets on this system that work fine......

Anyone?........ Wish I could help! My wallet isn't used for mining and I cannot get it to sync. At first it would not connect to the blockchain. Then I got it to a point where it would start reindexing blocks on disk for about 5 minutes then all the sudden no block source available. I had a lot of people help but nobody seems to know what the issue is. I tried messaging Giskard about it quite a few days back but no response. Good luck!
