In theory, with the potential of DeepOnion, it was expected that airdropped participant will continue to hold until DeepSend is released, which is the key privacy feature of our project. Holding with demand should cause the price to increase, however, as this is an airdropped coin, the post-airdrop dumping was expected.

In terms of marketing, the airdrop is a good way to make sure people know about DeepOnion. I don't think anyone thought that distributing free coins would immediately raise the price but people found out about it and invested in it.

Now that Airdrops are over, there is not a large number of new $Onions hitting the market each week, so now the main way to acquire Onions is to buy them.

Now that Airdrops are over, there is not a large number of new $Onions hitting the market each week, so now the main way to acquire Onions is to buy them.  

Unfortunaly some large holders are dumping too much of their Onions on the market which is preventing the price from rising, but there is a strong demand to keep the price above 20k sats which is a good sign for the future, when these weak hands will have been shaken out of the way
