IMO that was negative press and not good for investment. We're bundled in there with cryptos that have less than savoury track records or premise.

We really should think of a re-brand imo. DeepOnion just isn't a good name for investors even though we all understand where it comes from.

Hi @jimmybob_007, although I understand your position, I believe rebranding would be a giant effort; not the first time a cryptocoin has made it, but it would imply starting from the ground again...

Negative press in mass media  no way in hell there is no such thing  , doesn't exist period .  probably should have told steve jobs that the name  apple inc . was not a good name for a computer company . we have a funny ,catchy and stupid name for some, that helps us a lot to get peoples attention  and if we add to the "stupid name" and amazing tech and  profession corporative  design on all  the aspect of  future marketing  we will really dominate . I'm sure john oliver is loading up his bags on cheap onions

I like your point of view about our name. For long time I thought "deeponion" was just a funny name. Now I think it can give us more attention in this phase.

I also think that a rebrand could help to make it more serious...can't not really imagine that people would pay with $onion for everyday buisnesses.

I can't believe the airdrops are almost over. This coin is the coin that taught me how to separate the true projects and the fakers.  I also learned about all of the different communities and some are just toxic. This one is not.
