What a great Monday morning, I just saw my wallet stake 1.9+ fresh $ONIONS in version 1.6.1. Hows your staking guys?
Bless you, start a good day, I am waiting for my staking  i always open my wallet +18 hours a day , my wallet staking +1.2 and more , the deep onion wallet version 1.61 is best version ,the network weight can bigger and bigger but my wallet weight always have +70000 and staking very well That was a really great feedback mate. As we all know that the developers behind this are really working hard to make this project more promising. |

From the moment i found deeponion, i like it because it really promotes the importance of the privacy. It is really important in the cryptocurrency industry and anything that connected to money and banking. After comleating the airdrops only the real growth will happen. Will DeepSend become active by default, so users can disable it if they want, or will it be the opposite? I saw some posts that were paddling into muddy waters claiming that CoinX is superior because it is private by default, which does make sense, as not all users are aware about enabling DeepSend before sending a transaction.
I prefer to have it set to Enabled by default and user can disable it if they want to pay less fee. Also, given the potential of growth when DeepSend is activated, I think it will be more appealing to reduce the Tx fee to 0.0005 and set the DeepSend fee at 0.0005, so when both are enabled, it will be the current 0.001 fee. When the price surges beyond $5,000 or $10,000 in the future, the fee may be revised again.
Most likely DeepSend will be optional, sender can choose it for sender's anonymity. Otherwise, you would be able to just simply send normally, as you do now. |

When I said to enable it by default, I didn't mean that it should be forced on all the time. I wanted to shut those who started to point fingers at a potential weakness and not give those with doubt any chance, by shutting the door in their face before they open it. Simple, imagine an interface like this: DeepSend On (default) Off FEE: 0.0005 DeepProtocol On (default) Off FEE: 0.0005 this way, we can be sure that DeepOnion can be called "A Privacy Coin by Default". If we did that, no one can ever say DeepOnion is inferior because CoinX or CoinY enabled user privacy by default. Also, remember that a lot of users might not know what is DeepSend and DeepProtocol, even if a mouse tooltip is incorporated with the description, some novice users may just send a transaction thinking it is anonymous by default. This is important to consider. Also, masternodes, as I said before, are a potential compromise for an anonymous coin. If privacy is your target, make your project independent from any entity that may cause a vulnerability. PoS reward of 1% is a good reward for all (unlike masternodes which is a profit model for few only). Imagine staking 1% every year when $ONION = $1000, everyone hodling is a winner. |
