Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!
There are a lot of coins whose prices have a greater potential to increase than Bitcoin. In terms of giving big profit, Bitcoin is not the number one. Do not set your eyes on Bitcoin only. There are coins that are yet to be discovered. Go research them and see for yourself. By doing this, your confusion will be gone. |

I think BTC is going to reach 20K in 3 months, but it does not necessarily mean that you need to sell all your altcoin positions and wait for your BTC to rise in value. The move you should take depends on what altcoins you are holding. If you are holding platform coins, such as ETH, NEO, and ArcBlock (A blockchain 3.0 project undergoing ICO with an opening whitelist), you are definitely fine. If you are holding coins backed back a strong team and working product (ETHlend, Wabi), you can safely hold your altcoins. Otherwise, you should probably sell your altcoins and hold BTC instead. |

Why would you need to sell alts? Alts rise couple folds than btc. if you bought alts at $0.2 and rise at $1 it's already 5 times fold while in btc to have 5x folds if you had converted it on $10,000 you have to wait it has to rise on $50k. That is such a long time waiting.

It is not a good idea to sell all altcoins that you are holding just because of bitcoin price is raising. It's good to sell the others while holding some which is in your own finding that altcoins has a good future. Now is the good thing to do that while bitcoin is falling the price.

I don't think you need to sell your altcoin investment just to benefit from bitcoin rising price and you should hold the valuable altcoins which may have good value in the future.

If you're expecting about BTC will rise $20k like last last year, i think its not a good idea bitcoin is only for a long term holding I think it would take more months to return its mooning. Its better to hold your alts now and sell if you have profits with it and your profits with your alts you can use it to buy bitcoins if you want to. Its better to hold both to avoid regrets.

Looks like many have done the same way the thread starter thing and are now with regrets. I have my altcoins sent to bitcoin too due to the increase that certain date and is now waiting for bitcoin to rise again. I know it will but it could have been better if I am also profiting now with altcoins using those sold ones, although I still have bought some of the altcoins up until now and are all in profit.

There are some which are good alts to hold on but there are alts also which are not that good enough to purchase.But if you think that you needed to sell your akts then sell it and if you want to invest to other cryptocurrencies then go.Just be careful though. |

This is not good time to sell coins. Let's wait. The market will start to recover soon I am sure. Then it will be better time to sell altcoins and get profit as a great reward for your patience. |

I hope you did not sell all your altcoins. If you do, you will soon regret it. You can already see where the path is going. Almost all altcoins are clearly in the green again. Some have even won 50%. Within a few hours. That is amazing!   |

It's all depends on what you want to hold or sell because like everyone this week including me, we are all holding our coins no matter what Bitcoin will become.
If you want to sell your coins due to physical needs or emergency then I think it's the right time to convert from cryptocurrency into fiat.

I don`t think you should sell all your Altcoins now. We all see that the crypto currency market is going through bad times. But this is not the first time: we have already experienced this in the past. That's why I believe that we should not panic. Crypto currency will soon rise again in price. It will not be as fast as everyone would like. But I believe that Altcoins will soon return to their best results.

Feels like you're getting your reward after all this coin crisis that you're still holding it right behind every coins' droppings. I'm thinking to sell off my tokens because I think it's time for me to get my reward from hard work and being positively waiting for this day to come that my coins will back to normal. |

Selling off altcoin and investing all in bitcoin is not a good idea for me. If you think Bitcoin has potentials, same applies to altcoin.
In my opinion, it is not bad to hold altcoin because it's just getting started.
