Hi, nutildah,
Thank you for your warning. Will try to withdraw my funds from this exchange and never again use it. I wish you to return your money back eventually.

it took over 6 weeks and multiple tickets raised for my account Poloniex account verification.  by the time it went through i decided not to use the exchange due to how little support i felt i received throughout the process.  this is terrifying though, account verification is one thing but not being able to access your own money is quite another. best of luck to you.

the more stories that surface like this, the more 2018 will become the year of the DEX

Here's what Poloniex has to say after I clicked the link in my email. "Oops" is right. Assholes. (Them, not you.)

Finally, here's an example of how slow and useless their support team is. I would say this is proof they are either readying for an exit scam or else practicing fractional reserve banking, which means they don't actually have the coins to send me. As you can see I created these tickets an entire month ago and have received NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER from them.

No telephone number. No email address. Nothing to do except for sit and wait and pray.

TL;DR - DON'T USE POLONIEX OR COUNT ON THEM TO OFFER _ANY_ BIT OF SUPPORT!

I hope you are eventually able to get a response from them. They are certainly big enough to have a decent support system and if the exchange falls or starts doing the wrong thing is going to be chaos.

I have about 200k XDN coins there stuck since nearly a year now. The wallet status is saying "temporarily disabled" and not much I can do about it, really sad to see this especially since XDN is getting pumped really hard now..
I have written countless support tickets and no answer..

Ouch... that's a lot of coins. I sincerely recommend threatening them with legal action. That's about all you can do. But you have to make it sounds smart, and serious. Granted I think being an asshole doesn't get me very far in life, but what's yours is yours. They can't just keep your money. That's illegal in every sense of U.S. law.

I firmly believe they simply don't have the coins to give you. They sold them all already. Thats why its "temporarily disabled." You'll probably get them back when/if the price tanks.
Threaten them that you will file a lawsuit, get your self a good lawyer, file a complaint to Better Business Bureau, not sure if this kind f exchange sites are covered by BBB since they claim that their address is from Wilmington Delaware so I guess they are or should be covered by BBB.

Thank you for the advice guys! I also have 100k SC stuck in withdrawal since half a year, do you have any advice what to do with suing since I am based in Germany.
Can I find a German lawyer and sue them from Germany? Or maybe we could do like a collective lawsuit to pressure them about the issues?

We need to collectively fund a personal law suit against their ceo that dumb prick is swanning around with millions leaving a bunch of dumb ass bunch of monkeys handling customer services. These monkeys have no way of dealing with any real issues.

The way to get the xdn xcn bbr sc and all other withdrawals working is to create a thread here first dedicated to their ceo this tristan dip shit.... google will soon pick it up and highlight his neglect and absolute disregard of his customers. Making it personal to him is the key, i believe their are 2 other main directors too.

We need to locate who they are and where they live and make them uncomfortable with the level of negative attention.

They are not planning any exit scam in my books since you can take out btc in large amounts.

It is simply total and utter disregard for people who have issues with their exchange.

I know people that are today losing the opportunity to withdrawal 10s of thousands of dollars of crypto in XDN alone.

I would not even rule out polo instigating this huge pump on the and dump on XDN whilst they hold these XDN captive...

YOu may see them open this wallet once this coin dumps.

That is totally unfair and tristan and the other 2 turds running this fucked up dump need to be brought to account on this.

I absolutely agree with you. However I have once read that Poloniex is basically registered on an US address only with no real physical office, so it might be hard to catch them.
I like the idea of collectively raising awareness especially since it are great missed opportunities with all the pumps going on right now, and as you said it is quite likely that they dump the customers money and give them back to you near worthless, if ever!
Can we form a Telegram group or coordinate who has problems with getting large sums of it? With BTC I didn't have problems so far, but mainly the altcoins as mentioned above.

Tristan la scammer ID can;t be hard to locate. We need GLEB on this. He will track that sucker down and make him reactivate the wallets that hold the stolen coins. Imagine the XDN holders today that have A LOT OF their coins trapped on there they must be going nuts.

Yes that actually may be quite useful.

I bet gleb could trace that rat to his current hiding hole.

I saw someone here had 200k XDN locked there so thats 20K usd or greater today that may be worth 5k or 2 K time tristan gives it back if he ever does. That is a lot of stress for a normal individual.

May even be worth putting it with some serious debt collection people for half and half .... tristan is probably some little nerd who would shit bricks at the first sight of anyone real wanting their money back. Of course only stern words will be required with such weasels to get him to do the right thing.

I notice polo are creating their own markets by cutting of access to the coin.. vcash trades for half on there compared to bittrex because they cut the wallet access of for MONTHS. I bet they making the MAX on that situation too.

Everyone could file a complaint with the SEC as suggested from here:

https://busy.org/poloniex/@bayareacoins/every-steem-user-should-file-a-sec-complaint-against-poloniex-it-only-takes-about-5-minutes-and-these-bastards-deserve-it

https://www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml

https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/index.xhtml

Could send this news of Poloniex's sceheme to cryptocurrency news websites i.e.

*edit: he _will_ get what's coming to him. I'm definitely filing a lawsuit against them when I get back to the U.S. My next thread will be enlisting people to join a class action lawsuit against them. And we will win.
Which state? Did you sign up from your phili or US address?
Maybe this is problem?
(Of course this is not excuse for banning you and taking your funds)

I don't see why the would exit scam, they make so much money every single day in fees. All those coins would become tinted and they would have a super hard time washing them and cashing out plus people would probably put huge sums of money on their head. I really just don't see how exit scamming for them would be a smart choise.

I haven't had any problems with poloniex. I do feel like it is a bit slow, and you should always save your coins in an offline wallet. It's harder these days with the slow block times and high fees though. Also the good hardware wallets don't support some of the new coins.

I would imagine only a select few things are an issue in the exchange. Unless you've had experience with poloniex and having your currency withheld orbeing IP banned for no reason, or even having to make an unanswered ticket, then I can't imagine you would experience the ordeal others have. So it's your own risk regardless

I now have my Attorney on this as i cant access my account that has a little under 13K in it..

I cant wait until Binance opens back up for new accounts...

Don't use polo,I also met a unhappy money missing there,  there are many good exchanges except polo.
If polo keep on this , reject to supply a better service , more and more people will run away to other exchange.

Binance is much better than polo so I decided a week ago to trade there. It has more volume and more choices of good kinds of altcoins so there's no reason for me to stay there.

How am I supposed to "save my coins in an offline wallet" when THEY WON'T SEND MY COINS TO THE WALLET?

It's more than a bit slow. They are definitely selling user coins to make profits, and then releasing them only after the price has dropped substantially. They are basically short selling _your_ coins, under the guise of compliance and wallet issues. After reading over a hundred comments where similar things have happened to other users, there's no doubt in my mind they are about to tank.

I advise everybody to withdraw all their coins now, before they run out of coins, become illiquid and file for bankruptcy, or else disappear into the moonlight.

I suspect the same thing that happened to Paul Vernon (Big Vern) of Cryptsy is about to happen to Tristan D'Agosto (Busoni). He will either vanish or _be_ vanished.
