Don't forget, there will always be risks when trading.
The only constant is change and we don't know what tomorrow will bring.
Hopefully you can minimize that risk with knowledge and a little luck, but there is still a risk.

Holding is good but greed will be your worst enemy. When you hold you need to take profit when there is uptrend. I am one of the example of greed i had good amount of btc one month ago but now they are at their half.

Holding is the best way. Holding always has a risk especially because of the volatility in the market. Holding is less risky than trading but you have wait for the bitcoin price to go up before you gain profit. No investment with such high returns is without risk. You must be brave to make decisions and not regret what you have decided whatever the outcome because it is useless. There is a huge possibility & I hope you are also able to take this advantages.  You have to wait patiently.

all things related to Bitcoin are full of risks
save and buy Bitcoin can just change the amount of assets you have, so everyone should always be vigilant and should not be rushed in making choices
You must believe in your heart
and your hands must be strong, and be the owner of the most powerful hand

As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.

Weird question, holding's always a risk

Every investment has its own risk but if you want to hold bitcoin for long term is it will be good

I suggest to hold and buy more bitcoin and Wait to rise the price again because as of now we can see that the price is not rising and I think it will slow to increase but I believe that bitcoin will recover again.

I think it's unreasonable to sell bitcoin. But I think it is necessary to act without forgetting that this market is risky.İt must be thoroughly researched and decided.
Well holding is very great to do to have a big profit in the future so for me holding is not risky and we should just need to trust bitcoin, and i think we should buy more bitcoin and just hold it for long time and wait until the value or the price of bitcoin is we will pump very high.

In my opinion, holding bitcoin is at risk because the price can fall anytime. Indeed, it has the potential to increase its value more than we can imagine because it happened already, but a sudden dropping of price also happened which made some investors lose a huge amount of money. It is very disappointing to lose a huge amount of money that's why some expertise, advice is to make sure about everything that we do, though sometimes it is not 100 % but still having knowledge would be a big help. We invest and trade to make a profit not to lose a penny.

The price of bitcoin will grow again, but for this it will be necessary to wait a few more years. This year, we will not see any significant increase in the price of bitcoin.

It can be both. Holding any currency represents the risk of losing money when prices continue on crashing. In this case, you can either wait till recovery or just sell at a lost which is not wise unless it is determined that there is really no hope for recovery. On the other hand, holding is an opportunity to earn huge profit when prices hike like crazy! Bottom line, there will always be risks in any opportunity. That's just how it goes...

Holding for me is very risky because there will be a big chance of losing but there will be also a earning. But they say if you hold bitcoin in very long time it is profitable.

Most of us are stuck holding right now because all coins have gone down in value for the past month or so.  They will bounce back.  I don't think I will sell when they bounce back though, with the exception of a few tokens I know aren't going anywhere.

Global CPQ

Enterprise Blockchain CPQ Pricing Intelligence Software. Bringing crypto to the enterprise.  Enterprise companies are simply not ready for crypto, and Global CPQ is bridging that gap.

Spend Less Time Quoting. More Time Closing.

Yes of course everything have risk, and investing bitcoin have risk also, because we don't know when bitcoin price will crash and increasing the price, so we need to think how to take right decision on right moment as well. Because any investment always have risky.

holding bitcoin is not risky. the risky thing is, when you buy bitcoin at the high price,
and hold it. it is risky because it is highly you will gain no profit, even loss.

Holding is a hazard since you won't know how bitcoin or other digital money changes, we can see that bitcoin`s value started to fall now so it is a hazard to hold it, consider the possibility that the cost of bitcoin keeps on falling and never develop again. or on the other hand other crypto that you hold and would like to pump won't pump and started to dump? So it additionally goes out on a limb to hold any cryptographic money.

Each activity has a hazard including holding however in the event that you are offering for short of what you brought then you aren't really decreasing your hazard you are simply evacuating your alternatives. I figure in the event that you have contributed painstakingly and can stand to lose what you put in then why stress?

holding may have a risk, a risk that you will not gain any profit.
but usually for a long term, holding is profitable for bitcoin.

You should understand that there is no 100% guarantee that btc will gets back to 17-20k. although 99% of this forum believe in better and greater future for that
