Depending on how much are you going to invest, I would recommend you either software or hardware wallet. Never use web wallets and exchanges for long term storing. Both software and hardware wallet allow you to control your own private key which is required to spend your money. Electrum is great choice if you don't have much in BTC. It started supporting SegWit which means that your transactions will be cheaper! Ledger and Trezor are great hardware wallets, there are a lot of reviews on the Internet.

For me I used paper wallet because it is very safe not connected to the internet and it is far from scammers. I keep it in my bag so that it will far from water.

Paper wallet is great but I feel as though a hardware wallet is simpler and has just about the same security as the paper one.

You may need to research much on this because the best for you would be based on the features you would like to have your wallet provider offer.

If you have some small qty btc and want to keep it online then you can use the blockchain or any other good exchanges where you can store as you may require it on regular basis. But if it is for a long term then best would be to store it offline.

Online wallets - Coinbase and / or blockchain - These are most reliable and longest running ones with great security. Make sure always to activate email notification ,SMS notification and 2FA, we always have to be extra careful when using online wallets.

hardware wallets - Ledger Nano S / Tezor - among then I prefer Ledger Nano, it's more reliable only downside is they have a total unfair Shipping fee, best way is to buy 2 or 3 wallets at with a friend or someone you know, helps with the shipping fee. other than that the wallet security is totally high.

Most people use a ledger or a blockchain because it can be said to be very good for storing your bitcoin. Maybe if I just use Luno because I think it's simple and safe too.

Looking for a secure place to store my bitcoins. What do you recommend? I found a few here, but looking for more feedback: http://cryptomarketmag.com/2018/01/07/best-bitcoin-wallets-2018/

Thanks!
My friends used ledger to store or hold their bitcoin, it is like a flashdrive. Usually I used Coins.ph to store my bitcoin, Coins.ph is an online application that used to hold Bitcoin, Php and Ethereum. This application is very helpful and easy to access.

If you can afford then hardware wallet would be the best. If you don't want to spend money then go for free options. In my opinion, the best online wallet is blockchain.info and conbase. Both of them are very good.

I like coinbase for a couple reasons. First, you have the option of transferring bitcoin or transfer the bitcoin and convert to USD. With it, I can use Shift (an app and debit card) that connect to the coinbase account-- no need to transfer to my bank. I'm still rather new about this wallet, but thus far, I have no complaints about coinbase.

Bitcoin Knots. This is a complete bitcoin client, which is available for all operating systems. Bitcoin Knots provides high confidentiality: the application does not transfer transaction information to other network members, makes it difficult to track payments, it provides an opportunity to use anonymous Tor browser. Other advantages include: full control of own funds, independence from third parties, open source. Disadvantage: can be downloaded to PCs that are potentially vulnerable to malware, so you need to think about the security of the device.

Blockchain is the innovation that enables Bitcoin and other computerized monetary standards to exist. Hope to hear more about Blockchain a long ways past the computerized money world. Blockchain.info is like Coinbase in that it is an online wallet, yet you can't purchase or offer specifically through Blockchain, which implies your Bitcoin stockpiling is separate from your Bitcoin commercial center.

Since is anything but a full trade, it is thought to be more secure than a site like Coinbase, where you can wager that terrible folks are always endeavoring to hack. On the off chance that you are not a "PC individual," utilizing a trade like Coinbase is considerably less demanding. This division includes a level of security, yet additionally a level of many-sided quality in your Bitcoin utilize.

We have different fsvorite wallets. This wallet that I use and I think this is most everyone also use. Blockhain, coinbase and coins.ph.
This three wallet have different features and I love them all and I hope it will upgraded everyweek or everymonth. But because coins.ph is my country wallet  I always use this to recieve and send bitcoin and cashout and buy bitcoin.

There are top most trusted wallet being used by many crypto users right now. According to a magazine that i read, among the top 5 cryto wallets are nano ledger, electrum or even blockchain.info
However, according to an expert, the safest and most secured way is a cold wallet or a paper wallet, its a piece of paper where you put some type of codes and hid somewhere you only knew where to find. According to the expert who said that,. It is a back-up plan if something happen to bitcoin and one of its advantages is that you have all of its information and you have complete control and acceas over your own bitcoin.
Its much safer because a  cold wallet is a wallet but an offline one.
